[UI] Hull slot: A new slot for ships, adding hp or damage reduction

    Having an additional slot feature among the ships that increases the hp of the ship is a good advantage, or even reducing incoming damage to your HP but having reduction to some of your ships capabilities.

    HULL PLATINGS:

    PROS: it can increase your Maximum HP by a moderate amount (does not stack with boosters, can still get those nano hulls for extra toughness)

    CONS: it reduces your shield absorption by a small percentage (can be countered with crab, but slower speed)

    (Battle Cruisers and Heavy Battle cruisers will receive less HP from Hull plating: 50% decrease when equipped on Battle Cruisers like the Goliath, and Heavy Battle Cruisers like the Citadel)
    (Star fighters like Vengeance and Pusat will receive more HP , giving them more advantage in battles: 50% more Hull Plating bonus for star fighter ships only)
    (Any other ships that is equipped with this will receive bonus nor penalties, they will gain the normal HP that the Hull Plating's stats has)


    ARMOR PLATINGS:

    PROS: reduces incoming damage on your HP from any type of source for a small percentage (except abilities like venom, for mines and smart bombs too)

    CONS: speed reduction by a small percentage



    (Star fighter ships like Vengeance, Pusat will have a deduction on Armor platings: 25% bonus from Damage reduction on Armor platings for star fighter ships only)

    (Battle cruisers such as goliath, heavy battlecruiser like the citadel would receive a bonus from the Armor plating: 50% more bonus on Armor Platings they equip)
    (Ships equipped with Armor Plating will have bonus nor penalties, they will gain the stats of which Armor Plating they equip)


    so overall, these feature can add up to the battle mechanics of the game to where having armor platings on your battle configs which you are slow without speed configs or with a few, or equipping hull platings on your suicide config to last in battles for a longer duration.


    there are also combo platings which consist of both armor platings and hull platings, but has more penalty

    this combo platings can be called COMPOSITE PLATING which needs a more tactical approach, it depends on your playstyle, to suit it more if for pvp or pve.

    We have an announcement for a new upcoming tech of the Titan Industries who just discovered a new type of ore called "Zexium" a rare type of metal that is found in the sector Galaxy Gate Zeta which we have just demolished their entire army and their mothership, the Devourer.

    According to their analysis, this rare ore seems to be absorbing energy from any source it surfaced into, we have experimented on a Zexium which has not yet been fed with energy and the Zexium which has been fed with energy that came from the shield of a ship, we were astounded that the more energy it is fed, the stronger the rare metal gets and is much tougher than our known existing metals on the universe, and can be applied as an extra hull plating of a ship but will give you trouble on your shielding mechanism or because of the weight, it might affect your speed.

    Introducing new equipment to help you out in your battles:
    Hull Plating and Armor Plating, increase your ship's HP by a percentage or Having a Damage Reduction to your HP.

    These ores that we have found from the Zeta sector is now refined and produced new tech with the utmost skills and effort of our scientist from Titan Industries.

    Equipping these Hull plating on your ship will enhance your ship's structure but will surely have a negative effect on your shielding mechanism.

    HULL PLATING

    HP-Z01
    Hull Points: Increases base HP by 10%
    Shield Absorption Reduction: 12%

    HP-Z02
    Hull Points: Increases base HP by 15%
    Shield Absorption Reduction: 8%

    HP-ZX
    Hull Points: Increases base HP by 20%
    Shield Absorption Reduction: 5%



    ARMOR PLATING

    AP-ZA1
    HP Damage Reduction: 5%
    Speed Reduction: 7%


    AP-ZA2
    HP Damage Reduction: 7%
    Speed Reduction: 5%

    AP-ZAX
    HP Damage Reduction: 10%
    Speed Reduction: 3%

  2. ok,I liked your idea, and the weapons do not need to add an lf4 to give more hp.E venom if you have more than 185,000 total hp you do not have to worry because the current uniqueness is this in 35 seconds, It would be better 40 seconds.

    I like this idea too but I believe it should be restricted or seriously limited based on the amount of Hp the ship has to begin with.
    I like the idea of ships of battle cruiser and above should get less benefit from this tech but ships below battle cruiser class get the same benefit limit the larger ships get considering hp.

    Say the natural hp of the goli is 256k, any boost above that should be limited.
    However, say a starfighter or lesser class ship should be allowed to gain up to 256k hp with the speed reduction to not drop below 300.

    The citadel should be exempt from this tech since it has over 500k hp unless it is the intention of this idea to raise any ships hp to over 500k which would also be fine with me.

    It would be hilarious to be putting around in my 550k hp Phoenix, Spearhead or DefCom ship.

    That's the way I see it too, this could make many ships compete with the big dawgs in the game.
     
  6. well now the point of the game is to get the strongest ship available, but i do agree with you that having the goliath to get more hp the same as the other class ship in the game would still maintain the goliath being the most powerful ship in the game.

    This is an idea I really want, isn't it smart to channel focus on one idea at a time to insure success as opposed to jumping to other ideas to demand focus on off topic agendas?
     
  9. The community is already shouting for what they want, bug fixes and some other broken features in the game but unfortunately D.O is the only one that has the power to change and to hear what the people say in this community, in the forums.

    I am only posting suggestions of what i can imagine in the game that would help players in both gameplay and succession from being a newbie to an elite.

  13. In my suggestion except Spectrum,Aegis,Tartarus,Surgeon teh orthes ships should have nnao hull double or +100%,without formation vants in using.
