Pretty cool event, people can craft thousands of thousands of RSB n extra energys "for free"

It costs cca 20k uri to build the gate without rebate n you get cca 20k uri as a reward from the gate. You waste cca same amount of ammo you get from the gate.

Yes, boosters cost a lot of money for just stupid 3 hours of boost. However you can drop them as a reward from the gate eventho the doubler is a rare drop.

For me its one of the best events lately. No idea why people just complain. Since when u people complain about getting a gate that lets you to get 3 mil + rsb in a month n ten of thousands free energy spins.

dont u know the diffirence between a noob and a strong FE+ , UFE players.
it benifts u cuz u can do it. the point of this event is as DO said themselves in their twitch stream that this event wil help everyone and specialy the noobs in the game. can u see a level 10 all flax a few lf3 and a few lf2 and ao3 shields pop a uberlordakium?? no they are not llike you. get that through ur head.

this event was meant to bring balance to the game and help noobs and fresh new players. just llike how it used to but now with more stuff. do u want fly one day and be the onlly player online, tell e answer my question, do you want DO to die out?. dont just think about uself for a change. this event should have been to bring back balance to the game. DO aid it themselves that they want to make it a less pay to win game. but this event proves them otherwise.

i am a full 9 havoc level 16 drones with 15 lf4's. i finished the gate and it not bad but i didnt get any prox out of it. but doing the gate i sw tha noobs dont stand a chance in this gate. and if i dont buy boosters i wnt ever get proxy.

i want that noobs get a better chance in the game, the game is already dead as it is now. UFE players dont need anything more . DO should just focus on the noobs.

fyi u need to get proxy to get the keys and spins , but if they dont drop proxy how in the world should we benifit from them like u do.

 

The gate is not a gate that all players can benefit from, for UFE players it is a good event but for anything less than UFE or near UFE it is a non starter. Once you get to map 7 and start getting the quick quick build up of waves plus the DO lag sickness with multiple rockteers the gate starts to become unstable and at a price tag of 21k URI this is an unacceptable price for poor quality performance. The lower levels again have been left out in the cold with broken promises of adding more balance to the game with an an event that was stated to be Level 6+. When these events are tested by the dev team little thought is given to all player levels as they use UFE ships with all the boosters and elite ammo in a non realistic environment, also the lack of response to any feedback seems to be an ongoing flaw in the DO and community relationship. There as not been a single post in the feedback thread from the DO team since the thread was opened as with most of the event feedback threads.

you mean WAY WAY WAAAYYY to low , the drop chance should be 40 % or 50% for ufounit and 50%or 60% for UFO, this is an event that means this isnt going to stay on the whole year, ich means prox should not be so rare to find , specialy if u can onlly find it in this gate with so many NPC in so many WAVES.

 

Thers enough events around for you to get ufe. For example i had to finish kappa 54 times to get 10 hercs, guess you dont need to.

If you can afford rebate atleast once a week or two , then its pretty easy to get ufe nowadays. (prem of crs)

 

After doing the gate several more times, I came to a conclusion - as with almost everything DO have implemented since 2011, the gate is also a major gamble - get at least ~30 proxium and the gate is pretty good and worth doing. However, as happened twice for me now, get 0 proxium and it's a total waste of ammo. I'd also like to point out that making 4h boosters instead of 10h, as well as them being only payment available makes it blatantly obvious the event's purpose is to make DO some good revenue. On a side note, the new recipes are incredibly nice and will keep me interested in doing the gate till I run out of ammo lol

 

I thought you were guaranteed 7 prox at the very end. Is that not the case? If so, I have to change my statement about no boosters being 7 to 21 prox to 0 to 14. My assumption is that someone is much luckier than me and will get a second and possibly a third drop without boosters. I'm on map 7 right now doing my 4th time through and I've got 0 prox so far on this run. I just need 7 more to do the next 500ee and was assuming I'd get the 7 at the end. If not, I'm gonna be upset.

Again, the UFO is stupid, but not hard. Like someone said earlier, it only hits for 4K and you have range on it if just barely. It's quite possible to sit there and pound it and slowly retreat while keeping its shields from regening and regenerating your shields & HP. It takes time, but it does not require x4 or RSB to take down.

Just finished 8 and 9 as well. No joy. Prox is not to be found here. That is 9 maps without a sinlge prox drop. Funny thing is that for the first three maps, I had the drop booster (1 hour) from finishing the previous gate. For maps 1 to 3, I should have had 35% chance of a drop. For maps 4 through 9's Ufonit's, I should have had 10% chance, and 20% chance for the UFO in map 6. I think your drop percentage payout calculation for prox is off. I know I've gotten 3 drops of 2021 this go around and it's only an 11% chance while not striking a single prox drop. Once they figure out it's "out of whack", it would be a nice gesture to give those of us who spent the time and effort in the gate some prox for each time we finished the gate without it handing out the posted percentages of Prox.

I'm curious if anyone playing without the boosters has received multiple prox drops in the entire gate. Post if you had please.

No boosters apart from 1 hour booster for first 2 ufonits, my 3 gates so far it has been: 0, 7, 51 proxium so far (each gate not cumulative)

 

51 without boosters? Wow. I still think something is off, but if someone is getting the prox, I guess I can't complain too much. Anyone else, or is XeonXS's success an aberration? Still think that down the road, they are going to figure out something was pooched. The big question is will they admit it or treat us like mushrooms?

I went back and looked and it's the prox booster that is guaranteed. I'm gonna be mad if I don't get at least 7 so I can complete my last recipe. I'm not running through the gate again. I just put all my surplus Uri into log disks and I need exactly 21K in URI more to get my next research point while I have the rebate pack. The research point at least will provide a long term reward for the work.

A horrible waste of time and ammo. No way the new folks could do it . Long, boring, and poor rewards. I feel dumber for doing it. What were the creative minds for DO thinking ?

 

Ok all in all in my 4 gates I got 50 proxiums.

1st Attempt done within 5 hrs (No boosters) = 2* 7 proxiums from 2 ufonits = 14 proxiums (got drop chance and doubler booster)
2nd Attempt done within 4 hrs (No boosters - forgot I have those from the 1st XD ) = 7 proxiums (got drop chance booster)
3rd Attempt done within 3 hrs (1 hr drop booster from 2nd attempt and uses x4) = 14 proxiums (got drop chance booster)
4th Attempt done within 3 hrs (1 hr drop booster from 2nd attempt and uses x4) = booster faded at end of map 5 but even without booster I got 15 proxiums from UFO on map 10 (got drop chance booster)

Tried to collect my very first 1 Obsidian and got Drill formation
5th Attempt (0 proxium at the moment - stopped at end of map 2 with 45 mins left on the 1 hr booster for the 4th attempt)

*After getting drill my maps 1 to 2 become 15 mins and the booster might last past map 5. Faster than my 4th attempt

But my x2, x3, Sab and Seprom were running out!! X4 is sometimes stable and staying at 80k at end of the gate. The Plt 2021 and the HStrm 01 increased from 0 to 9000 and 24k to 29k respectively. Most of all my eyes, right wrist, and fingers were tried though I managed to do 2 more Zeta and used the crafted 500 EE to get 47 parts + the 2* crafted 20 keys and the 2* 20 booty keys = 140 booty keys for next lf4 day.

This gate can only be done/completed (hardly) by FE/FE+ with several spent ammo and time, UFE and near UFE can do it within an hour and spam it with less time, resources and ammo spent while I think Newbies have no chance /slim chance to even complete map 1.
It would be better for them to release an easy version ( I mean Easy version of this gate) for the Newbies or adjust the difficulty of the lower maps with of course a respectable decrease in rewards. Though I also think that the drop chance should be a bit higher.

I would rather save my ammo for Demaner, Hitac etc. I'm still boxing and collecting Palla (which are the better option for Extra Energy and Uri/Booty keys) instead of spending/wasting my time for some "special" gates.

Finished map 10. No joy. Stopped tracking time it takes, ammo usage, etc. I have 13 Prox and since this gate isn't handing out the percentage of Prox promised, I'm not playing it again. If it was trying to roll a one on a dice, I have done the following without rolling a single one:

Rolled a three sided dice three times without rolling a one
Rolled a ten sided dice seven times without rolling a one
Rolled a five sided dice twice without rolling a one

If I had multi-sided dice, I'd try it and I'm pretty sure it would be 9 times out of 10 that I rolled a one in the above circumstances. Like I said, something is broken. Hopefully they can or will fix it and make it right with the players that wasted their time on a false promise.

To be clear, on my first two runs through the gate, I use the four hour boosters and got some Prox along with some sweet rewards from the recipes. IF the payout was working correctly, my impatience would get the better of me after I ran through the gate 2 or 3 more times and I'd most likely invest in more boosters even though the boosters are a bit of a ripoff with the largest benefit going to the strongest players who can go through the gate two times in four hours, I'd probably get one more to pull down that last little bit of joy. If the box doubler's worked on the drops, I might go through the gate again to see if I could pile up some ammo. Since none of this works, my experience the two times I didn't pay for boosters tells me this gate is not worth my time and has no reasonable chance of winning without spending excessive amounts of cash.

I to have done this gate and received no proxium. I did get some ammo/uri during and as I finished the gate. I am going to try one more and see if I get anything needed to make the receipt.

Can anyone confirm that Rsbs are going to be 120 prox now? I saw it on Facebook
