how come the registered users has dropping from a jaw dropping 93 million to a still jaw dropping 73 million? where have twenty million registered users disappeared too??

 

They have been deleted for using programs or not coming to the game for years, creating much needed space on the servers for the new programming.

 

How about running an "active user" counter instead? Let us see how many people log in regularly every month. We as players know there is not 93 (or even 73) million players in the game anymore. This is over 1 million players per server and this is not even close to what we are seeing. Heck they don't even have 10000 people who are active on most servers to occupy the "Hall Of Fame" records without including names that have not even completed the "starter" missions.

 

When they mean registered users do they mean across different servers so 1 account could be on 3 servers? Meaning 3 more users ? Or are they just registered.

 

Registered user is a person who has created an account with DO. The user may opt to play on any of the available severs and also play on multiple severs ( for example play on both GB1 and GB2 ) with the registered account, thus playing more than 1 server as a single registered user.
