LF-4 Enhancement Feedback

Oh great, damage is already insane but now UFE PvP hunters will demolish noobs in less than half a shot with special lasers. Good way to kill the game even faster *Sigh*

 

LMAO glad i have over 200 lf4 but no way am i working harder than i do at work on a game to get some rubbish that to me is not worth it

exactly fix their list to being lower price.

each material cost will be 50 and NO LOG FILES. we need lot for use to pilot skills and product useful consumable techs.

 

I have been playing Dark Orbit since it first came out and have seen all of the changes they have made.Some may be good changes,but the vast majority only benefit the money players and DO itself because of the money players.Sure DO needs to make money,but take a look at what they make through uridium sales,mega and happy hours and sales of special items you can only purchase.It is one heck of allot and I will bet it is in the millions each week.These new items will only benefit the money players in the long run and te little guys will remain just that "little guys."It also seems that every time DO adds something new the game play gets messed up one way or another and then takes DO a month or more to fix it.In example the lag and freeze ups have increased over the last few months and are still occurring to this day.Maybe instead of coming out with more of this or that to make more money DO should concentrate on fixing all of the glitches first !!!

 

The price isn't really all that bad. When you look at the cost of buying 400 logfiles compared to the cost of upgrading a basic LF4 to level 16, then it's pretty much near identical. Remember, these new enhanced LF4's are already effectively level 16, since the base damage of 212 is equal to a level 16 LF4.

400 logfiles = 120,000 uridium
level 16 upgrade cost (at 100%) = 104,250 uridium

So it's only 15,750 more uridium for these enhanced versions of the LF4 (plus the resources required in the recipe, of which I do believe the amount of resources should be reduced).

The only people who lose out are the people who already have upgraded LF4's and thus would either need to get more basic LF4's or would have to use an already upgraded LF4, meaning they would've essentially paid twice.

Maybe the devs should consider coming up with a method that would allow users to downgrade already upgraded lasers in return for some compensation, or change the recipe for these enhanced LF4's so that users can utilise already upgraded LF4's. For example, if users could use LF4's that are already upgraded, the amount of logfiles required in the recipe for the enhanced version could be reduced depending on the upgrade level of the LF4 being used in the recipe. Maybe something like;

When you do some calculations though, the most beneficial of these enhanced LF4's does appear to be the Hyperplasmoid (+.5% HP per laser). I would definitely prefer to have potentially up to 18% more HP (depending on ship/design etc.) over the potential of maybe several thousand more damage.

I agree with you there, therefore i am one of those players too. Got all my stuff before they introduced all these easier ways to do this stuff. I Spent alot of time and money to get UFE and now there is even more to do?? Really?? just a way for more money and to make more and more people leave this game, and i think ill be one of them...

 

Please put more 30% logfile sales, we will need it.

 

I like DO's idea of doing quests to get the parts needed for the new lasers. However, the payout is so poor that it makes getting the new lasers unrealistic. The idea of the 400 Log disks and having to use an LF-4 that will cost the average player 50K-150K uri to get, again makes the laser unrealistic. I think even the top players will agree this is a bad deal.

or someone that doesn't have a life. Man, these guys still don't get it. Your grind is way too long and your prices are still too high.

How are we supposed to get new payers to stay an old ones to come back like this.

I am favor with the suggestion . Fair and square mathematics and sound humane to all..

 

surely its better to uprgrade ypur lf4 till lvl 16 than this but thats my opinion

 

It will only dropped when you accept the weekly quest of completing a gate ( note you can only do 1 weekly mission within the week, so decide what you will do). Unfortunately this week the weekly quest doesn't include zeta gate, you could either accept this week's weekly quest or wait for next week's quest and hope that zeta is included.

 

more to do, and less reward for any of it. this game just isnt fun, all they do is add more grind and no real reward. the new lf4 enhancement is barely above a current upgraded lf4, but takes months for 1 person to hope to get on top of having to wipe the hard earned upgrades off the lf4s we have. this point theyre just trying to kill the game i think
