[UI] Stop making ships!

Darkorbit already has WAY more ships than players use, how long has it been since you've been seen a nostromo, big boy or Phoenix? Exactly, nobody uses them! Instead, why don't you just make a ship modification slot? There you could put up to 3 different abilities (2 passive such as Afterburner, and 1 Battle such as Venom). Also, you could make purchaseable laser slots (up to 15 per ship). That way players could be flying those old ships they love and still have the same bonuses as the Goliath. It would also make the game a bit more exciting as you wouldn't expect a peanut to hit that hard!

 

I do see your point. This has been addressed and talked about on last twitch Q&A. And they said. We will be able to modify, upgrade ALL of our ships.

It is happening this year. So hold on. Hope they do it properly

Anyway i agree with they stoping making ships, they look ugly and are overpowered.

 

Mimesis needs pusat speed and cyborgs going to be the new ship for everyone.

 

What I'd like to see if for the type of battle cruiser look I like to be available for all my battle cruisers.
Say I like the look of the Venom or Sentinel or Diminisher or Spectrum or Solace, make all or most of my Goliath ships look like the one of them at my choosing.
