[GI] Login Videos

    I realize with the focus being on fixing problems now if the team has tripped over the Login Videos mechanism. As I go from server to server, I find they try to start and then stop before any video starts. We may want to check over our settings to remove this little hiccup.o_O

    Hiccup or not I found I received the 100 Uridium and I even received it on my PREMIUM accounts and they used to be exempt from the benefit of the login video.

    I don't mind it if it is working, which today it is. I don't get them on my premium account, nor get credit for it but that was really expected. My only concern is that the ads stay short, 5 min or less, and no music videos. I still remember the bad language music videos and the 6 hour marathons that would pump in when you only have a quick minute to log in, do a transfer, and leave for whatever...:(

    Now that I say this, I am expecting a mod, and trust me when I say no offense to them, to come on and say that the youtube videos are brought in through a 3rd party that is separate from DO/Bigpoint and they have no control over the content that is provided. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:o_O

    Oh and I already found a 10 min video on one of my servers while typing this.

    I had an 8 minute one on my PREMIUM account to day and like you say had limited time to deal with the transfers this morning, had to skip it, but it is still a waste of time waiting for it to load up just to clock thru it. I know if I create a thread I will get "WARNED" as it is a KNOWN ISSUE that they have NO CONTROL of.

    Login videos?I don't understand what you are talking about.I never had any video pop up because i logined to one of my accs.

    You might have an adblocker on your browser just like me and it would look like the screen would fade into black screen and then it proceeds to your login bonus page, though you still got 100 uri even you don't watch it. You could look at your log at Balance in Uridium section of the backpage, normally the +100 uri would come after the login bonus. It was implemented months ago and was removed and then it came back within this week but now I thinks its removed again as I don't noticed at during my login after midnight time of the server.

    These abominations should be kept to 15 - 30 SECONDS which is what I think 100 uri represents to me.
    And yes I know how to hit the skip button and use an ad blocker.
    It is good to see that DO is fixing first what generates revenue for them selves.
    Now they can afford the other glitch repairs.....0-0...............

    You don't need to use an ad blocker.Use Waterfox and it will block it for you.
