[SC] Unfair advantage given to some servers(as usual)

It has been happening for a while now and some people have probably seen that DO puts Helix 400% or MHH or extra 33-66% premium only on some servers.Don't believe me?Go check yourself right now the Helix 400% sales at German and France servers.Apparently they treat us like wallets because if they didn't then they would put sales on all servers.

You will find that as the time for the server reaches the time seen on German Servers the activity will also be seen on ALL servers. IT is on different servers at different times strictly because of Scheduled Time is SET and Server Time is according to ZONE (Migration affected servers excepted) allowing players choice of Server to best fit their prime time playing to coincide with server prime time activity.

Yes as HelpMeHelpYou advised (ty), this is time based per server. Not every server is on the same timezone, so events are not all held at the exact time across all the servers.

Even with the the clock discrepancy still ongoing with the US East coast timed servers they ran a Helix the other night, then three hours later on the West server, as it would normally be.

There's nothing "unfair" about these events running at staggered times based on time zones. Otherwise you will have events running while hardly anyone would be around to partake in them.

It has been happening for months,and i know that Global Europe servers run on the same server time as Spanish,German and French servers.So don't tell me otherwise,or should i take screenshots the next time it happens in order to believe me?Although i don't think it will happen again since i posted this thread.

 

The next time you hit those servers look at the clock on the Main Back Page, if they are running the event at the same time then they are on the same time zone clock and since you voice 3 different language servers they can easily be on the same SERVER TIME and just running for LANGUAGE not time zone. But your ORIGINAL COMPLAINT was about UNFAIR ADVANTAGES and you need to provide PROOF that there are servers NOT benefiting from MHH/HELIX events. I never said there were NO SERVERS SHARING TIME ZONES but did state it was affected by Time Zone for Server (Server Time).

 

The real advantage is to DO, as they are running Helix/MHH often as well as the other constant sales in the shop. They don't do it for some of the servers but all of them. They are not shy about who they offer this to as it allows them to remake the money they borrowed from the new investors faster. In the end, the player needs to start making some life decisions about how much they really need to spend since they have regular life needs to focus on as well.

The question I have for the OP is what time do those servers you say were not getting it at first normally run the HH sales and are they not running Helix/MHH at the same time? If Global servers are doing it an hour off, it could be for maximum participation. Check out the sales times and then let us know.
