Yes as stated, messages like these are scams 100%. In some cases when someone does fall for it and provides their account information, they will then go on to use the account to further their scam even more.

We say time and again but if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, and never share your login info with anyone or anything. Not even support will seek out current login data from you.

No ,of course I don't . I didn't catch that when I posted the message I got. My apologies.

 

Though some kind of list of the Bigpoints own links on the forums to warn users would be good though, so even if there isn't provided much and which could look real/legit, the people could check the links if they match with the links provided in the list.

One another thing is also that usually those mail senders username does not even look like it's an employee of Bigpoint / DarkOrbit team, so check those also out.

 

That information is, more or less, already in the forums

These offers have been made outside the game as well as within, but it's ultimately the same in that these are all pretty much the same in that if DO were actually putting out a special offer even remotely like this, they would be making it available via official channels and not shopping it around through third parties.
