[UI] Australia ?

I hope ya'll having a great time.

I'll start without any long story here. My post will probably be ignored or raged by someone that is not okay with my idea. but i still will try. My friends and i are playing Darkorbit for awhile but whats the annoying part here is the server issues. How ? let me explain

Firstly I'm literally playing with 780 ping which drops my fps and increases very high not to mention im using Nbn fastest internet in Australia. Secondly, i lost my Gamma gate, lost my others gates, why? well you guessed it. I'm pretty sure they will never listen my stupid request or idea.but is it possible if we Australians could get our own server? just like other countries? because mostly its because of lags and delays and all those sort of stuff.

Nevertheless, if anyone out there isn't happy with my idea. i recommend playing with 800 ping.

Its not a bad idea, but could take some time to implement. Right now they are in the middle of opening up ASIA1 and Server merges. Once that is done, but now that I think about it it could be started up now, they can plan for a server in your part of the world. I am sure they didn't realize they had a large player base in that area. I can't wait to see them get one started.

I hope they do look forward to make one for us. I do not care whether other people from different countries can join or not but all im hoping is a server with out Spikes or Fps drops or Delays.

1)Don't worry,if it evolves to flaming a Mod/Admin will delete the message
2)The devs themselves don't look at the forums(probably) but at least the Community Managers do so don't worry your idea won't go unnoticed.
3)I can't see why not implementing a new server if there is large enough population to cover the expenses needed to keep an Australian server up and running.

 

I'm pretty sure there are many Australians. So far i know atleast 10 of them. but there might be more. But hopefully they will make An Australian Server.

Aussie here,been playing this [REMOVED] game for far too long and never had too many issues apart from the game not actually working the way it should, dont have NBN anymore doesn't seem to matter as there is not a lot of load on the network with this simple browser game, there are probably other factors affecting your game performance like loads of botters and cheaters on the server you play. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for an "Australian" server as you will surely die. have you tried clearing your cache? or maybe playing another better game that actually works

 

i don't know how, but have seen other games having austalian players on same server as other without the big differens in ping. Maybe it's somthing with server placement, but that also away to explore some opportunities.

But i sgree, something mush be done, it's not fair to the austalians.

PS. fps drops comes from your pc, latency is from internet connection sure latency can cause lag, with is seen as missing frames, so you fps will some the same picture multiple times, but you'll never see your accual fps drops because of a internet connection.
