[UI] new resource quantities dropped

    id like to make a suggestion for the new materials specifically scrap and marcoseum

    me and my friends have agreed that it would be better keeping the drops as they are but making them drop im larger quantities that way people wont get bored of playing the game most of us are used to a simple game not the new developed farm ville.... also players dont want to play for hours to get very little me personally have been farming today for 3 hours and i have recieved 7 scrap and 4 marcoseum and
    its slight irritating to see that you guys have degraded game play by making us farm specially the players like my self who cant afford to pay to play

    even resources dropped by pirates and battle rays drop more frequent ive spent hours and days since i first posted this and i only have 60 scrap

    Especially the Scrap is hard to obtain even if you ran ABY gates... Have seen people complaining that they get like from 3 to 12 Scrap in one cycle of ABY gates, which makes the drops very small.

    Code:
    3-4 Alphas = 240-320 Saimons, 120-160 Mordons
    2 Betas = 160 Saimons, 80 Mordons
    1 Gamma = 80 Saimons, 40 Mordons
    
    In total: 600-840
    Average: 720
    Average Scrap obtained by players (what I know): 8
    
    Chance to get Scrap as a drop: 0,01%
    Even though this information is inaccurate as I can't confirm the talk about 3-12 Scrap, but that's what I have seen some players complaining. However I do believe that the gate drop rates are smaller than normal maps, because this is GateOrbit.

    Also my calculations are incorrect as well as you have a chance to get 3 or 4 Alpha gates in one cycle (not sure about also 3 Beta gates).

  4. Some old, good ideas, which are usually ignored, because...I don't know. Maybe they don't like non-rare chances, because they want to see us hard-core playing the game...

    (Or let us buy scrap for Uri again)

  6. This is a valid point and needs to be addressed as a general issue, maybe moved to one of the problem forums. Getting the new ore is very hard for most players. As stated, scrap is very slow. There is so much to assemble now a days and between the material coming out at a snail's crawl and the fact that pets will not pick it up, getting what is needed can seem like a year round task for one thing. Once an event that pushes an assembled item goes away, the material needed seems to come out even slower. I have stated before, maybe on my other account, that the material should be added to cargo boxes. Some players need regular cargo also and it would be good to see it in the list of the regular cargo when you pick it up. One it would push players to pick up cargo boxes again and two, it would allow the pets to do their job.

  8. That is what I was saying. The scrap could be something that is in the cargo box.
     
  9. You can't see 0,01% as a total drop chance because every NPC's has its own drop chance. It doesn't mean that if the drop chance is 25% that you will get every 4th NPC the ressource.

    But i have to aggree that the drop chance from scrap is really rare and should be increased.

    Yeah i aggree, too and i want to ask why pirates spawn cargo boxes and these ressources and normal NPC's not.

    Best example is the cubikon with one of the best cargos in the game. Someone from the devs or community managers said that it can't be done technically.

    But why the hell pirates spawn both everytime?

    Something good for the players? Noooo!
    Something good for their banks? Yeees!

  10. from what i can calcualt on the chance it's 1,11% drop chance and not 0,01%

    But i agree, it's way to slow to get it

  12. My best guess is that most players hate going to 5-x maps to do anything, so having the pirates drop both is a good incentive for players to spend some quality time up there. There are two old daily missions that can be done up there that require selling ore and then there are some new daily missions that can be done in those maps if one wanted to do them for some other material.

    Every NPC truly has the own chance and as I told about my chart, it would be miscalculated anyways. However I know that if the drop chance is 25% it won't give every 4th time a Scrap for me, but the chance to get the Scrap definitely is under 10% or then just major people on DarkOrbit has bad luck (which I don't believe at all). Also sometimes I have seen that the alien does not drop anything, not cargo, not Scrap (similar case was back in the days when the Legend Spectrum was bugged during the Saimon Rebellion).
