  1. Hey everyone, with the recent addition of the Mimesis being added to obsidian keys, I thought it may be a decent idea to get a grasp on the usefulness of the three new ships which were recently added to the game.

    Cyborg- I own this ship and at the moment, it feels like it's one of the best, if not, the best overall ship in the game right now, even toppling the Spectrum.

    I have not played either the Hammerclaw or the Mimesis

    Is getting either of them worth it? They are both a little on the slow side

    Hammerclaw = upgraded aegis

    Mimesis can be pretty strong, he have really good ship skills.

  3. My experience with the MIMESIS is not very well. It would be a good ship for spaceball, but in reality its a real slow ship. only people youd be able to catch up to would be the ones in ring but once someone hits wheel its useless.

    Hammerclaw is an upgraded aegis, I do like it and I would recommend it.

    Cyborg it is still better i would say.

  5. the mimesis was a real dissapointment and a bit naughty if i.am honest it said it had double rocket launcher which it does but what it didnt tell
    you is that it has to load both sets before it fires so it takes twice as long to load as a launcher on a goli say so in effect it deals just the same damage as if you had one firing quicker there is a term that comes to mind for this

    Hi, how do you get these new ships?

    You craft them via the Assembly*, which requires mostly Indoctrine Oil(450) and some Hardware. You can get Indoctrine Oil from doing the Quarantine Zone group gate, sometimes events has it as an reward and can get small amounts from the Solar Calendar(that see when login). (at moment the main way is the Quarantine Zone group gate)

    In case don't already know about them here's the FAQs for Quarantine Zone, the 3 new ships(also says crafting requirements) and also Plague Alert which has the info on how to enter the Quarantine Zone group gate. Keep in mind Plague Alert is a past event though, but it has info about Blighted Kristallon, Gygerthrall and the Immunizer CPU. But basically what you need to be able to enter the Quarantine Zone is an Immunizer CPU, which make from assembly that requires 30 Hybrid Alloy*.

    *Although there was at least one time buying 130 or so Obsidian keys you also got a Mimesis ship. I'm not sure myself if thats a thing they are still doing, though also I'll put in a spoiler exactly how to get Hybrid Alloy etc:
    How to get Hybrid Alloy is the following: Pop Blighted Kristallon's that can find on a X-7 map, which a Blighted Gygerthrall will spawn from them and then there is a 50% chance an Alloy Box will drop after popping a Blighted Gygerthrall.

    I did link to the Plague Alert FAQ but guess I may as well put screenshots of the relevant information here:

    Although the minimum amount of players needed to enter is 2 now, but of course I recommend closer to 8 people so it doesn't take too long/use as much ammo. There is also boosters you can buy to increase the amount/chance of getting Indoctrine Oil and Hybrid Alloy*, which can buy from Shop>Extras(payment). And also is a Uridium one that increases chance by 20%, which also stacks with the payment booster version(Shop>Boosters).

    *I believe it is just the "rolls" the chance booster effects and not the chance of an Alloy Box dropping though.
