[SC] Server Merge Question @Oessian

As you can see I have a question regarding server merges. I play on Global Europe 6, I have made it to Full-Elite and I have started the journey to UFE. My problem is when I first started DO I made an account on Global Europe 7 (2012). When I realised a friend played DO and that he was close to UFE I moved to Global Europe 6 (2013) later took a 3 year hiatus and I am here again. If those servers merge what will happen those accounts are under the same Dark Orbit account. I don't want my level 8 leonov kill my Full-Elite account that I have put effort and money in. Can you explain to me what will happen in such cases?

 

This is a question the devs have "touched" on in a Twitch session but gave no answer to. I am looking for the same answer since I play multiple servers under the same login, and like you have done some substantial work on them all. Unfortunately, I don't see them giving us any answers until after they have done the merge. I like the team but their hands are tied for legal reasons.

 

This is just a hypotesis, but i think they might do like what seafight did when they merged servers on that game, u conserved all ur ships from diferent servers, but when logged in on those ships u were redirected to play on some big server with all the other servers.

EX:They merge all global america servers and u have a ship on global america 2 and a ship on global america 1, when u log in and start playing on global america 1, it appear on main page that ure on int2, but when opening the game window, u play in the same map with all the other global america servers.

remember this is just some hypotesis, since the devs cant say anything for now...

Maybe they will combine all items into 1 account? maybe you're highest level character or something? just an idea however

 

I think they should separate the accounts and allow us to play whatever account we want on whatever server they assign them to. Many people paid great amounts of money to advance an account and to have D O remove/combine them is just wrong. I know many UFE have created NEW accounts as it just was not fun anymore having a UFE account with nothing except HUNTING to do, waiting for the next EVENT to start.

NO but OP32 did reply in another thread about problems that the merge is the priority. The best place to look for information would be DISCORD if you are good enough to navigate it.
