[GI] What is FF (4)?

hi! can anyone help me understand what "FF (4)" under my HP and Shield bar is?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

There are four different types of letters that may apear under your HP, in game
'F' 'I' 'Z' and 'A'

F = Flax Drone
I = Iris Drone
Z = Zeus Drone
A= Apis Drone

The order that they appear is based on drone location.

The first letter in your first drone, the second letter, the second drone, etc.
If you want to know what order your drones are in, then you may see that in the hangar,
-Go to Hangar, then Manage, then Drones

That being said, the letters are there more for opposing players to see what you have. The reasoning behind it, is because some players elect to show drones and other players wish to not see them.

The "(4)" represents the average level of your drones, as in drone level not "upgrade level". (more info, though CBS costs have been reduced since this)

Another thing may as well say, when they are colored it means there are stat drone designs on them. Blue: means there are Hercules equipped on them, Red: Havocs are equiped, "Gold": Spartans are equipped and "Orange": means Epic Demons* are equipped.


*Seems the Silver Demon stat drone design doesn't have any color though(or it's very slight...), following is an image of the color difference between Spartans and Epic Demon stat drone designs color(rest are more easy to spot). Zeus(Z) being Epic demon and rest Spartans:

 

Most players will have IIIIIIIIAZ(6) in different layouts as this is the maximum drones you can have (8 Iris/Flax, 1 Apis, 1 Zeus) and unless the drones have had to be replaced the number will never drop below 5 or above 6. As a 2 flax level 4 player only a real bully should be attacking you as you are obviously very weak ship. But then there are those who prefer the easy kill. Go to Auction and bid on Iris's.
