[UI] New BK and LK Quests

Hello, with the recent addition of Cubikon and Port quests for X-6 maps, I think that 2 additional quests should be created for Bk's and LK's.

BK Quest:
Kill 2500

LK Quest:
Kill 5000

Rewards I don't really know...feel free to comment ideas for rewards for these quests

 

No one will bother doing those, quests that aren't PvP or about cubikon and protegits are a waste of time.

 

LOL, cracks me up. Double the LK amount and we have a go.

 

I just want more quests to do, and neoonoma there are plenty of people that I know would like in x-7 maps for quests like these.

 

Don't worry, some players are stuck on cube/pvp mindset. Bad thing is at my rate of play, I have another couple years before I would be able to do that mission.

 

Because you are limited to 4 Cubikons and those are on a Spawn Counter (won't come back for x minutes after destruction) many people choose to farm BK's instead. I think having a goal and adding the SK/LK's to the mix is not a bad idea, might even add the BBK's to the mix just for fun.

 

97% of active players bot, the rest 3% cube or box. What person actually takes the time to farm BKs and SKs? Oh wait, the bots on x-7 maps. xD

 

Interesting, while I farm pirates.... But that was missed out in the flaming. I would do bk/sk missions if I had them. Working on bbk/bbl missions as we speak. Not sure where that falls in your percentages either but meh...

 

I do not think your percentages are really accurate as I know many people who are active and have never botted. This being said I am aware many of the top 100 of most servers can be traced to Bought or Botted accounts. But to come out and say only 1 in 33 ships in the maps is not a botter is quite inflammatory. Before I started dealing with LAG that prevented me from playing more than 30 minutes without "FREEZING" in the maps I would spend 12 hours a day killing NPC's for quests, so I guess I was a BOT according to you. I went from a level 14 player to a level 19 almost 20 in 30 days and I have never used a bot (nor even know where to look for them) in the 7 years I have been around this game with the 5 active accounts I have, these 2 are the newest accounts with 3 years under their belts. As far as your "Farm BK's" statement there are many people who do this as they are unable to do the Cubes for Uridium. There seems to always be someone asking for a group to BK as there are so many quests requiring these plus the rewards are decent for them compared to the hazards of trying to get one of the 4 Cubes per company to grind on.

 

They normaly give the reward in uri you would make by shooting them all thus:
BK Quest:
2500 * 128 = 320000 uri

LK Quest:
Kill 5000 * 16 = 80000 uri

 

Or offer the option of summoning cubes or other aliens as reward for these quests.
I believe the same should be offered for the freighters or other group required aliens to be farmed.

 

Well, sure you will be one of the people who will farm them, but many(most) will not.

Nah, they aren't accurate, I intentionally exaggerated as to show that most players bot.
I never assumed people who play 12 hours a day are bots. Sure it might indicate so, but they still aren't. Anyone can play 12 hours a day on a Saturday if they are willing.

I play on only one server so I don't know about the others but . . . I only see 1 or 2 players(at best) farming BKs and SKs. In fact the majority of them don't even farm the SKs because they are either F2Ps without Kamikaze or bots. So the "someone asking for a group to BK" refers to a few people.
Though the "a few" might stand for my server, I think it stands true for most of the other servers as well. I often hear people say that every server is dead except Global Europe 1 and Global America 1 with no more than 25 players online at the same time.
Well, on another post of mine I said that GE4 has only 10 players at the same time on the maps so you could tackle that argument with this one:
GE4 has 10 active players and 6 players at the same time on x-7 maps.
My server has 25 active players and 2.5 * 6 = 15 players at the same time on x-7 maps.
So with that argument you say that there are 5 players on each x-7 map. It's still pretty dead.

 

actually, for myself on the game, you couldnt be more wrong. so im a bot am i .. because as a rule i do not cube unless im asked if i want to keep someone company while they want to cube or help out a weaker player with a quest. i have and probably always will be a bk, bbk or lk.bsk farmer. but i am definately not a botter thankyou very much !!! i like apollos idea . loads of pvp quests, pirate quests, ubers etc. but not many for the x7 maps. maybe it is because of the bots these have been left out, but i grind my uri in this map when i log on the game. id love to see a 10k bk or something daft like that.
