    So I jumped in the vortex of terror
    first wave lordakia and more lordakia ok 4 gates appear
    I jump out in 1-1 go to 1-4 (thats annoying af)
    Take demon quest jump again
    Saimons ok
    AND then UBER Sibelons!!! I mean the uber sibelon is the last quest in the 6+ level quests after demon but ok
    boss devo after that
    then 80 saimon I lag I die

    The question is where is the demon drone????!!!
    Is it all random I have to bash huge wave of aliens hoping to fight a demon drone?

    You said 4 gates appeared? Did you hover your cursor over the Portal to see if it said what map it was taking you to? I could see an "exit gate", entrance to map 2, entrance to map 3, and entrance to map 4 as possible portal jumps and as you complete a set then the number of Portals reduces until you either face the last map or exit the gate altogether. In the Tunnel of Terror many people were saying they were using Kami to kill the Uber Sibelons and thus not using any ammo at all.

    The last post in this thread seems to have the most knowledge of the portals. And seems to support my thought of being map 2, 3, or 4, randomly assigned. Once in that map you will have one break opportunity before entering into the next map for that map system or taking another break. Once you complete that Map Group (2a,2b,2c or 3a,3b, or 4a,4b) you are presented with another choice to select another set of maps (not already completed) to enter or take a break from the gate. If my suggestion to hover the cursor over the portal does not specify which map system you are going to be entering then it is a random selection and you can only hope not to enter the #4 system as it is the one with the 20 Uber Sibelons in it.
