Do you remember this? I wonder why you gave it up. Let's get serious, this version is broken as hell, 90% of the players are botters and the remaining 10% are the only ones that actualy like it.
I think it´s pretty obvious that there is demande for such a server, but you seem to have some complex with it. You must think that the updates you've planned for "after the server merger" will do anything about the game, or else you're just trying to throw sand in our eyes. Anyway, I'd really like to know why you continue with this and not just open an OS server to the delight of us all.

You forget that is the old team. There is a new team in place now. Most the people back then that were asking for a server like that are gone except for the few who still believe this team is not doing anything. Face the facts the game has to evolve, if you want an old server go play one of the many custom servers that people are making. BP is not going to make a server like that for it to become filled with only 50 people. The servers are dead as it is, which is why they've made the server merge top priority. And even if they were considering making a server that was like '07 which was before delta and just basic fe, it would not be anywhere near the top as they're working on two of the biggest projects I've seen since playing this game. The downloadable client and server merge.

 

The O S server was talk before the sell to the Chinese and since then no matter how many threads have been created there has been no response or movement towards this objective. I think @OG_Failed has a point that the Chinese are forward looking and do not look backwards as a direction to move the game. The major problem is that D O worked so hard to show how much the game was loved they forgot the reason we love it and dumped a bunch of trash into the game causing even more people to leave and thus force their hands to merge the servers which might also involve the move from FLASH that MIGHT correct some of the conflicts in old and new coding being used. The download-able client might even get rid of the 3rd party software being introduced into the game and get rid of a bunch of the botters we see. But I really do not see us getting a pre '10 server as was being discussed 2 years ago with the Chinese in control.

 

50 people??!!! Llalalalalalallalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalal 5k bare minimum Private servers are to unstable and not as fun as a real one. Evolve does not mean they have to release OP gear. The game is dead as it is and it will remain dead with or without an OS server. There is alot of people that like "before delta and just basic fe" even if you dont. I dont think their planned updates are going to change anything.

I think they just dumped the junk to make money and didn't care about the possible consequences of it. Opening an OS server is logical, there is demand for it and it is not broken as this version also implementing it can be as easy as going to some test server and remove the crap from it so it doesn't require many working resources. Moreover, I'm inclined to think that when they see their glorious plans for "after the merge of the server" are getting them nowhere, they will begin to look for other alternatives.

 

5K minimum? You do realize that is literally the entire population of players right now. Probably even lower. And opening a server just because 5-10 ppl post about it does not mean there is a demand for it. You're in the wrong place if you're trying to see demand. Instead go into the discord and talk there that's where OP and Baracus actually reply to you. Not once since being in discord have I ever seen anyone say they want a OS server. Just complaining about r-zone or events not working. Ppl are asking for active servers not OS server. And they added stuff into the game because people were getting bored.

 

Yes i realize it is the entire game population or maybe more but so what? I dont think there is a demand because 5-10 people post (in here) about it, is from reading diverse reviews over the internet. About the discord first im not realy into creating more acounts, moreover when we have this forums (no idea why they dont use them) second im not to surprised to hear that since most discord users are that minory from here that actualy like this version. However, the reason why OS servers got into that vlog was because some guys were talking about that ... on discord. Regarding the wishs expressed both in discord and in here, again, that's what the guys that "like" this version want, not the whole picture.

 

The major issue that has been forgotten is that when they decided to increase the power and became a Gate Bashing Mentality Game, many of the Veteran Wallets left the game. They felt they had paid their dues and should be able to reap the benefits of this for a while, when the changes took this all away from them. They found their LUCK was not as it was and were unable to keep up with the others who found cheats to gain advantages taking top spots very quickly. There are some accounts that log in occasionally just to see if there has been enough changes to want to return to the game and the ability to transfer an account to the O S server might be just what is needed to get them back to the game they used to love.

Even the old school game had issues with every update/change they implemented, the difference was they took some time to try to correct the issues BEFORE adding more to them, for the last 2 years we have had a monthly addition which every one of them had included bugs/glitches causing even more issues that needed to be addressed but the development of the game has been more important than the correction of the issues created, and now all of this has been shelved to allow for the Merger of servers to be completed.

 

In addition to the reasons you pointed out, I also think that the game simply was not designed and can not function properly with the power greater than the basic FE due to the lack of moderation among the players. The idea of account transfer seems good provided the players accept to sacrifice their equipment due to the basic FE limit. On the rest, well, my opinion is that they did not fix this, as they planned to close the game and were just extracting the last piece of money they could from updates. It seems they have changed their minds since then. Regarding OS issues, such as the 500 uri and perhaps the auction, there are no concerns as both have already been fixed.

 

It's true that the game wasn't meant to give you power greater than FE but well of course greed took over. They might give you one LF-4 per month. And they expect people to play the game. It just makes you wonder why they even bother to add these rewards . . .

 

Darn greed... They are trying to spice people with the rewards and those missions that gave lf4s were actualy a good idea but... even if the farming requirements were made reasonable, I just dont think the game is funny with ufe gear in it. I had no fun playing in test server with an ufe ship. Battles are either you being shoot in 3 secs or you shooting someone in 3 secs. It basicaly boils down to shooting first and use moth/ring. Nothing as been so fun for me than those battles between a droneless bigboy and some guys in a le9 or even those nostalgic phoenix vs phoenix battles . High dmg/power just takes the fun out of the game. (In my opinion). Thats why i would like an OS server, its funnier to play. Not just because it as less farming.

 

I was actually talking about the login bonus. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's not guaranteed that you will get a LF-4 every month. And even if you do, it's only 1. What about the rest of the rewards, I didn't check the update for the new login bonus that much but the rewards are like 4k x4 ammo on some days? That's nuts. You need 100-150k x4 for one SB game.
I agree with everything else though, boring, repetitive and short fights.

 

We actually got 2 this month, a regular LF-4 and a NEW style LF-4.
