[SC] Bat Formation

Just getting others opinions... is it worth it?

 

I've had the formation since it was released..

8% more damage to NPC is a definite plus. 8% more experience per NPC kill is also great. I find the 15% speed reduction works awesome in gates on the waves with like 80 kristallins and 80 sibelonit, or in the newer gates. Rather than circling and keeping a good distance now I just drag them across the map. In a Goliath with 1 speed gen on power config, in Bat Formation the speed is perfect to keep you from getting hit ​

As with all the rest, it really depends on your setup. Now that I have it, I use it for just about everything that I was killing before (NPC). I now have a Diamond (formation) that is really jealous. HA HA

As `°ƒµll·†Ħгô††lє°´ stated, it has an 8% boost for NPC damage/experience points. Unfortunately that 15% speed reduction can leave you in a bind when you get PVP attacked but since I am used to being 1 shot popped, I don't bother even flinching. Just keep another formation on hotkey to help get away.

 

Hot Key the Wheel Formation to try to run faster. LOL

 

No, for 25k more uri, drill overrides it.

 

You know I had put drill to be next on my shopping list but with all the times I got pounced while doing the pumpkin missions, I think I shall buy Wheel. I can use any defensive advantage I can get.

 

Wheel is useless if they 1shoot you... u need atleast a little bit of time to run out of their range...

 

For the ones that are cloaked that is true, but I get a good number that are forward enough not to be cloaked, fly up to me, select ammo to use and then shoot me. Some are even nice enough to help me finish off whatever I am working on first before scattering my ship to the far corners of the map. Wheel could give me a "chance" to attempt an escape in those instances. I will take it.

 

I have both bat and drill, drill is better in my opinion.
