[GI] GHOSTIFLIER

Hi All,

What is a Ghostiflier? I have gotten several, but I can't find them in my inventory, nor what they are used for. Are they ghost? You get them and they disappear. So you thought you got something.

If you expand your quick bar and open your CPU tab you will find your Ghostifier's there, The Ghostifier is a short term cosmetic effect giving your ship a ghostly transparent look like the ghost NPC's that will last for a very short period of time before reverting back to your normal ships appearance.

 

It is cheesy content adjustment Dark orbit dose rather then address REAL game issues such as server lag bugs and Bug users. It is to hard for the real issues to be fixed so they throw useless garbage at you to appease your desire for a quality game

 

Thank you all. I thought it was junk because I couldn't find it. Who cares if you ship goes ghostly. I want something that will help.

First of all the ghostifier has been around for years. Secondly they released the item only during halloween and way before any of the recent bugs or lag everyone is complaining about. And finally it was the old dev team that had created the item not the current team. The only reason everything is crap right now is because they are trying to figure out how to replace the old game code with current coding without breaking the game entirely. The old team kept using code that was outdated which is why ppl began to use bugs, bots and abuse glitches because the game code was easily manipulated.

 

The issue you are trying to expose is the ORIGINAL Code used does not support the current Code being incorporated into the game. Instead of anyone trying to recode the Base Programming ALL techs have tried to correct the issues when they arise but now there are so many issues the only option is to try to recreate the game and dispose of the Original Platform. This is going to have to happen in the next 2 years anyway as Flash is no longer going to be used after that time.

 

also if you use 1 all npc aliens on the map will not attack you ..unless you shoot them .untill your ghost wears off

 

So you just repeated everything I said just to have another post in the forum? What website or game continues to use the same code forever? Every year coding becomes even simpler and new languages are being used. They've stated this many times in the twitch streams that the issue they are running into now is that the code is so old simple changes they try to make end up messing up multiple things. Fix one issue 2-3 take its place. And if they were to completely bring the site down to re code everything the last team was not able to keep updated. Everyone would freaking out like they did this morning when they pushed updates and the site was down for 45min. Now everyone is yelling for compensation even tho there is nothing going on in the game. Only for those you have real time boosters is anything really wasted.

 

The issue is YOU said the previous programmers were NOT using the NEW code and that is not the situation, but that is enough of that. The new complaints are addressed in this thread and there are 2 more of these to be seen in the next week. For ease the times the system is going to be down is 0130 - 0400 PDT (oops is this the weekend we change the clocks? 0230 to 0500 PST).
