[GI] Auction not giving back credits or won item.

Ok, I sent tickets before into DO support about the auction taking the credits and not giving the credits back or receiving any of the auction items. The bid also does not go towards the next hours auction. Here are some screenshots of my balance log, the next hours auction, and my mail.

I entered the bid 20 seconds before the end of the hour and then waited for the auction to accept the bid, it took 40 seconds into the next hour to accept it. When I refreshed, I had no record of winning the auction, no credits back, and no bid in the next hours auction.

 

I would say you have a major communication problem between your machine and the server, if it is taking 40 seconds to accept the bid. I can get a bid accepted in 10 seconds, and that is even slow. You really need to show VIDEO of what is happening as I know in 20 seconds the popular items will change high bidders several times. I also know that the lag does affect the assignment of auction wins being posted to you account, I have had to re-log to see them sometimes.

The only time I had a real problem with not getting my win was dealing with what happens tonight (clock being set ahead/back for daylight savings time) and this was corrected by Support a couple days later, after researching what happened and who was the actual winner.

 

This doesn't always happen i have been waiting a couple months for it to happen again. Also taking a video would be fine but i don't always know when it will happen. Anyways hope they look into it I don't need the credit's back just don't like loosing them for nothing. Or even it could be a bug from the past cause before if you were outbid in auction you would loose your credit's right?

 

I found that if I was having a problem I would get the proof (even if it did not happen) just to make sure I did get what I needed if it happened again. YES under the OLD TRADE system (not related to AUCTION) you did lose the credits once bid on item and hoped that you had a high enough bid to keep the item until won, this included not bidding high enough to get the top bidder position, during this time credits did not build up as they were saved for a GUARANTEED WINNING bid by having a FE player bid on item and know what they bid so you could bid at end to win the item you needed and they did not.

As the videos can be saved/deleted I would just make a habit of running the video capture during the bidding process and then edit down to what did not work properly, this way you are sure to capture it, thus allowing the TEAM to see what happened when.

I do see that you've experienced issue with auction house, of you not receiving credits from lost auction. I haven't seen any other posts, I can dig in and try to find out more, but in the meantime could you send a ticket to support explaining what happened with exact time, details and screen shots that support can looked at. Hope they will be able to assist you asap with the issue and get your credits back.
