Hello ATEER can you please give me the link where it says that this game is a PvP game. This is an MMO shooter so it doesn't mention that this game is strictly for PvP.I will get rid of my ufe account if it is a pvp game. Sorry to spoil it for you but it is not a pvp game. Ppl may play as they want if they want they will only farm. If we need to be hones the game should me considered as a farming game. Pvp is not worth and pve is so why don't we consider it a pve game. It's funny because Alot of ppl think like you but it's not 100% right to yes you may consider it but don't state it like that . Just call it a shooter as it is marketed.

Dwindling population arose because hades rewards are too high ,(almost as much as a kappa which you do alone) so people quit the game as they were seeing there rank dissapear and found it hard to join a hades group,or was just not interested in doing hades at all to keep rank.
Once some people realized how much honour could be gained from it with strong ships doing the gate in ten minutes .Multi clans were born as it is easier to arrange times to do the gate being in the same clan .

That created far too strong clans for others to be able to compete in anything .

DEVS you made the mess and have only yourselves to blame for it . you should have nerfed hades yrs ago as was said at the time then .

  3. A major portion of the initial loss of population is many who reached the FE+ status (FULLY MAXED Account) thought they had invested as much as they needed to and were on easy street, then they found in a week that they were no longer the BIG DOG anymore as people had already exploited the NEW GATES and became UFE thus kicking the Big Dog to the Curb. This also affected many who had been onto the PvE and found they could no longer survive the sneak attacks of these CLOWNS and as such found they were AGAIN a WEAK account and lost interest in continuing to play such an out of balance game, like this one has become. Those interested in RANK spend money on Galaxy Gates, those interested in PvE spend on Uridium, those interested in PvP spend on Cosmetics, and the FREE players have all decided to find another game to play because they have been slaughtered out of the enjoyment that once was D O.

IN the main story line (Sign In page) it states you are battling for Galaxy Supremacy, if this is not insinuating a PvP game I do not know what does? YES PvE does play a major portion of the Game but PvP gives the Supremacy of the Galaxy. Look at the rewards from missions, they even reward more for the PvP than they do for the PvE, so how does this figure into the PvE based game you are talking about. I will agree with the "Shooter Game' however PvP is the major implication of the game. There are 70 different PvP missions to level 9 thru 20 (including locked that are both PvE and PvP) and then level 21 has almost 50% split with 9 PvP and 10 PvE seen missions and one locked that adds to the PvE when all others are done.

I agree with a lot of the things that are said.
PVE is really a big part of the Game. But PVP too.

As most of the events are based on PVP.

The problem for me is not that I am killed by players. I hate 1 fact more than most. Backstabbing same company players.
That can help to kill you after enemy company starts to shoot you, and not get punished in any way.

It might not be the biggest issue. But one of those.

I do agree that one faction/company might be stronger and rule events. I thought that suppose to be this way. But not same company killing their own.
As noobs might have a chance to grab some rewards or participate. But backstabbing completely takes that away.

  5. @Odin® the MCC has always been a possibility and IF it was used as an AID in completing PvE Missions (as used to be done) allowed for friends to play together without having to switch companies. These were NON-HOSTILE clans that only worked together in completing these missions where they were dealing with the SAME enemies, they did not take advantage of killing their own companies, doing things like killing NPC's in enemy maps, Uber Maps, and now Pirate maps were all easier with a FRIEND in the company chat letting others know you were on a non-offensive mission and not there to attack the players. This was taken to a completely different level when they took the top 15 players of the Companies and placed them into ONE MCC and then started attacking anyone that came near them.

The OLD MCC would still be fine but when it is used to RULE the game instead of helping others get stronger or achieve completion of missions is where the issue came in. Since we have those that want to exploit every loophole in the game we are required to make everyone select a company, stick with it, and if wanting to play with friends of another company do it inside a GROUP instead of as a clan.

Since we are making server mergers anyway, take these MCC's and place them all in their own server an allow the rest of us to enjoy the game.

  6. I am not completely against MCC, because people are free. So I vote the third idea: 3. Allowing MCC but introducing limitations (Even if I think that the first idea "Free company swap period followed up by removing MCC" is a good one too)
But we can make this idea better:

After all, it's true that MCC ufe players now own the game. What the game needs, it's a new communication policy:
Make sure that those big players have a good behavior regarding events, diplomacy, and new players.

-To encourage that, let's give more % experience and honor to players who joined an UCC (Unique Company Clan). And to complete this, DO may create new shared missions to help more the new players (exactly like the Hades gate, but for a common mission. for ex: Kill 50 uber Klon in a 3players group minimum, with at least one of them less than lvl16 (edit*: if lvl16 considered like the step between new player and full elite player)-> Rewards good honor and good credits).
For those who choose to join a MCC, less % honor and experience.

-During Hitac event, I seen a lot of UFE players shoot their allies WITHOUT ANY REASON, they don't care because the lost of ranking points when you shoot an allie is a joke. Sanctions for those who shoot allies must be more effective than that !
For ex: in ranking page there is only "Friendly players destroyed: ??x100". Why not complete this by "Friendly fire: ??x100" (calm down, one mistake shoot on a allie will cost you only 100 ranking points, but it will stop the mess created by UFE owners of events). edit*: But the player who help another company allie to shoot down his own company player is the perfect exemple for the complexity of this problem: How can we let this player act like a traitor? And why ignoring his respect of an alliance during a clan war? Darkorbit, as you see, this is an IG contradiction

-At the end, more NPCs, more maps, more company events (i'm honestly not interested by the new skins you create, even if some of it are quite beautiful) will change a little the player's state of mind: maybe the company, that have thousands of players, is more important than the clan, that have only 50 max.

Changing clans policy will be a big mess (clans diplomacy: no wars anymore?, no multi company alliance?, NAP?). So big up for you DO to ask our feeback, and good luck for this!

I will try to be clear. I never ment that the game is a PvP or a pve one. The game is for pve and pvp and it's ment to be at the same level. HelpMeHelpYou for me it's funny to say that the game is one or the other that is why I said it's a shooter. Most missions are PVE like it or not they try to add more pvp. You said that the pvp missions give more rewards yes but the general pvp doesn't give anything or its too small of a reward, that is why they made the pvp missions with bigger rewards. The game is made for pve and pvp they should continue with this route so every one can enjoy. You said something about domination of the galaxy right. A member or a clan or a firm will never dominate the galaxy or atleas not for ever. The one thing that will aways be in the game is npc no matter how much you kill so the galaxy is never actually ours the moment we stop playing or something the npc will be the only wast thing in it. And yet we still have more rewards from pve all around you can't pvp without pve you cant afford it your ammo is not free.

For the Mcc I personally am in a Mcc(pvp one) so I don't mind it when I wasn't in it I still didn't mind it. Yes it's not right, yes they dominate, yes it's not fear for the other players I agree they should remove it. But they have to make a free period so players like me can change and play with their friends. And they should make it fee every once in a while (so you can play at every company or if your friends stop playing or you make new ones from other companies) may be they should make it on DO'S birthday so its 1 day every year. It will be hard to give everyone what they want but they should be careful with it and they shouldn't rush it.

Why placing those mcc in a diferent server? that sounds like some sort of discrimination.

  10. Intimidation if left in normal servers, discrimination if placed in a server where they have to compete for dominance. Sounds more like a BALANCING of the game to me. The MCC say they will continue whether broke up or not. They will create 3 separate clans and form NAPS between them and still group up as they do NOW, IF allowed to Change Companies, why would they want to as part of the reason was because you now have 3 generals in one clan once you change the company then you no longer have the RANK and that is what this is all about.

These Clans know ONE thing ONLY, DOMINATION. Whether it be in the maps, Events, or RANKS the MCC were setup to DOMINATE. Let them try to DOMINATE others of the same MINDSET instead of sub UFE trying to enjoy the game as it was intended.

Discrimination is the selection of a low level player to be slaughtered until they quit the game because it is no longer fun trying to get a ship that can kill a Boss Sibelon as they can never play long enough to earn what is needed to get the FE status needed to move to the Upper Maps. These players, if they were not discriminating themselves, would never hunt in the LOWERS but maintain dominance of the UPPERS where players at least have half a chance to defend themselves. But they do not, they choose to collect the EASY kill, which on turn is also killing the game as the NEW blood is the future of this (and any) game. As long as NEW blood keeps quitting the game the future is predetermined. CHANGE HAS TO HAPPEN, sooner not later, this CHANGE would be a first step to correcting the main issues with server Populations, Heck they may even have to open more servers if this were to happen on a regular basis (removing any clan that dominates ALL events not allowing others to participate). The UFE imbalance of the game created the issues with people quitting the game, and the LOW populations created the need for MCC's domination. Refractions was created to help with this issue but it has been a major failure with people getting stuck in there or stuck in QUE for entry. IF a clan dominates an EVENT (has over 50% of the top 30 prizes) they are restricted from getting anything from the next 2 events unless they participate in the event run in REFRACTIONS (programmers need to add this to the server) where they are in competition with others of their same strength.

You don't need to send them to another separate server, with the server merge the Top dog Mcc will be fighting each other.

And about the people who hunts on lowers... well im part of the biggest mcc in ga1, and we never did that, we do dominate events like demaner/hitac/etc... but we dont go around popping liberators or that stuff on lowers...about the people doing that sort of stuff, u can't blame the mcc for that, u need to blame the player/s doing that.

  13. When I have both my company and enemy carrying the same Clan Tag I am dealing with an MCC killing me. YOU might not be this way but many of the MCC's being complained about do exactly this.

In Total Agreement. To further support server monitoring for Future Creations of the MCC's , I propose that once a new MCC is created move them to the hosting MCC server. That way there a balance of power is maintained to a populated server thus reducing server membership loss.

Pushing MCC's to "somewhere else" would cause an ENORMOUS amount of backlash. And it would doom that server to a slow and painful death... it would be *impossible* to start a noob ship on a server like that. It's hard enough with a handful of MCC's on a server - imagine trying to start a ship with dozens of them? Evolutionary dead end - the people affected would have a "real" complaint about that kind of treatment.

Of all the ideas so far - the ones that "stand out" all have one thing in common - they are all heading back to the proven "three faction model".

Keep them or not - but adding something into the game engine that makes it a Bad Idea to shoot on your own company ships. Not just "kill shots" - but ANY shooting.
-Wars will still exist, but that makes a RED dot on the map - so at least it won't be a sneak attack. This would make it obvious to everyone "just whose side are you on?"

Removal of the MCC's would be (for me) the best option. But if they are kept - at least remove the "extra benefits" that they get which are not available to clans that have "company loyalty". Shared boosters, global CBS boosters, etc.
-Want to NAP with an enemy clan? No problem. But you don't get their CBS benefits and you don't get their shared boosters. Just like anybody in a single-company clan.
-Want to group with enemy company ships? No problem. But you do it the same way any other NON-MCC clan member does it. You don't get extra perks for being in an MCC.
-Want to be in TS with other company ships? (Who cares? That isn't a game-mechanic and there's nothing the game engine can do about it anyway.)

More company-focus events - have the system itself "encourage" the three-faction model. Not just the little "short time" events (Capture the Beacon comes to mind) - but the larger events. (Like the "Domination" event from some time ago.)
-These would encourage the three-faction behavior that is the underlying mechanism that keeps this game interesting.
-If MCC's are kept, it seems that membership should prohibit a ship from participating in - or receiving rewards from - any company-based event. (Probably can't stop participation, but could stop the benefits.)

If MCC's are removed - give the MCC folks a chance to choose a different company and stick with it. However that gets implemented - a "one time free switch coupon", or a time-limited window of opportunity. But ONLY offer that to MCC members.
-The biggest complaint I have is that the MCC members get advantages that the rest of us don't. Make sure that doesn't get turned inside out...don't give extra benefits for "loyal company ships" either.

Add "enforcement" into the Clan system that gives meaning to the company "declaration" in the clan setup. A single-company clan should not even SEE an application from a non-member of that company. And if you are IN a single-company clan, you should not have the option to switch companies. (Leave the clan first and change however you like - but don't install a loophole big enough to slide a ship through)

There will always be connections between people of different companies. But those connections are between PEOPLE - not built into the game system.
-There are pilots in other companies that I respect and will never intentionally shoot. But that connection doesn't mean I should get any other benefits from respecting them.
-There are enemy company clans that have had a NAP with my clan for as long as I can remember - but we don't get any extra advantages from it and neither do they. Just a mutual agreement to cooperate when we're farming aliens or building up newer players.

I still like the "loyalty benefits" possibilities I wrote about several pages ago, but that didn't seem to gain any traction. But having more things that "focus" on clans or companies seems like it would be beneficial to all.

    Good hunting,
    ~Gnorm

MCC is the problem and you don't have to be a MCC player that are the only ones spending money on this game

  19. IF they are being merged anyway why not place like minded people in the same server. This way they actually have to earn their rank instead of killing the game they supposedly love. IF they continue as they are not there will only be one server left with them in it anyway.

YES it is the players that are doing this but it is the MCC that allow the non-war same company attacks that are causing so many people to quit the game, we as players have a built in expectation that when we see a FRIENDLY colored ship we expect to be getting help against the enemy, not being attacked further by them. The original MCC's I supported as they had the respect to not attack any of their same company players, they would not help you but they did not try to kill you either, this prevented the need to have SPY accounts. The NEW MCC will have a friendly flying with you (targeting you for their clan mates) and after they attack join the fight to make sure you can not escape the kill.
