[SC] Drone Repair CPU-2 Let

Lets talk about it. How does it Work, why have i never seen it work? It always has the same amount of charges on it even if the drones pop... Lets Talk about faults information since we are on the topic too.. What is the use of it, if it dose not work?

Say someone pops your drones what will support say if you don't have the Drone Repair CPU2 On? I tell you what they will say you didnt have the Drone Repair CPU On so we can not replace them quotes Kara that will be the first thing she will say.

This CPU automatically repairs your drones when they have received the maximum damage upon ship destruction, as long as you have enough Uridium or Credits (depends on the drone type). Good for 32 repairs.

Yes that is faults information it does not work.

 

In my experience drone cpu2 does work been using it since 2010 never lost a drone with it. Only way you can lose drones with it is:
1) you didn't equip it in both configs. So if yo udie in the config without it it would not repair your drones cause it isn't equiped
2) you didn't had enough charges to repair all drones that would have been destroyed. In this case it just repairs how many charges left
3) you didn't have the uridium/ repair viuchers to repair it

 

Note that it repairs the drones only if they are going to get destroyed at next pop.

 

I replied to your first posting about this and then it was not there so I assume the Mods did not like the thread for some reason.

I have not used the CPU as I make sure to check my drones damage status and repair about the 80-85% range. I have done a test with the CPU's (get them for 10K Credits in Auction all of the time) and see they are at 98% and still not repaired. I know there have been some who lost their drones and had the CPU's assigned and never heard about the Upgrades not being returned also, that is the only reason to want them back anyway, Iris sells very Cheap now that we have NO NEW PLAYERS.

 

Put... Put it like this... Long ago I was a UFE and I had full booster all around shields rep drones.... I came upon a player that killed my boosted UFE with one shot his damage out put was outrageously high in the millions of laser damage I do remember the reading as of today which I will not post because the MOD don't like it and call it false information.

Make a long story short he killed me with one shot and my drones were at low percent damage, all the drones were popped... I reported this player back then and Kara said something like I can not replace your Drones because you did not have the CPU2 on both configs

YES I am aware of what you are talking about, but I remember it when I was FE and we were required to report it with VIDEO PROOF of the altercation, basically run VIDEO Capture the entire time we played hoping we caught this person when they played, and you are correct we (the household I played with) had a member just repair their drones (with Uridium) and not one kill later they lost all 8 drones and even though the records showed them all repaired AND NO KILLS SINCE they refused to replace them as the CPU's were not assigned and we had no evidence of the attack that destroyed them, except the logbooks showing them repaired and destroyed and by WHO, but these were 2 different logs and we all know how to falsify the logbooks in D O, right?

 

This, THIS is why most of us no longer trust anything told to us anymore. I love seeing golis move faster in designs that should slow them down along with high shields with *HIGHER* damage than we can in full boosted groups. Its honestly amazing that they always know exactly which drone design sequence to trigger glitches.

 

I can imagine the code for this cpu being:
"if drone(#n)_dmg == 90 repair"
Now the problem is that iris drones jump dmg values by 1% and 2% alternately. So that if your current dmg is 89% and the next jump is 2%, it will end up in 91% bypassing the "if" condition and rendering the cpu useless.

 

it is always same amount, iris pop with 70 kills apis/zeus 100. numbers are the same for all players, and for some reason cpu does not work for everyone.
just for the record i never had any problem with that cpu.

 

When i check the dmg on my iris, i see that it jumps 1% and 2% alternatly. That may be because it uses the succession or because it rounds the dmg to an integer before displaying. I am inclined to think that their script uses the succession of 1% and 2% instead of a single decimal number like 1.482...% since some programing languages like batch script cannot work with decimals. You usualy see that in languages made for mathematics like matlab or wolfram mathematica. Since flash is for games i dont think they added that feature. Btw if you go to exel and make a sum of 1, 2, 1, 2, ... you will get exactly 100 at the 68 th term.

 

Don't tell support that they will call you a liar. Not only that, they will say it is DAMNABLE LIES, lol Yeah that's why they took down my first post on this subject.

To be tell you the truth IT DOES NOT WORK. They just want you to believe it works like the Dark Orbit sorry lines go alone with the Big Point hallucinations.

 

I have never lost a drone with the cpu on my ship. I did lose 2 iris before I understood the importance of having the cpu. Clan leader told me he would not give me credits for drones again, I better get the cpu. The cpu will repair the drone when damage reaches 100% and drone will drop 1 level. I know they work because they have saved me billions of credits on new drones plus all the uri to upgrade again.

 

Yea, the CPU does not work for all. I used it in my younger years in DO and lost a few of my Irises (thankfully before Item Upgrading came out). Never used the CPU since.

There's already claims from A BUNCH of players who say that it does not work, so why are you complaining about it and using it?

anyways, the drone repair cpu seems more like a luck test because of the repair credits being used into drones, when you could only repair drones with uridium it did work fine, now? huh, it's mostly luck, because the system had little change to the code, so yeah, you better have 5K uri if you want to have no problems with that cpu (or premium and 2.5K uri), don't rely too much on the repair credits for that cpu.

I have lost all three type of drones one time or another before I put the CPU on my ship. I haven't lost a drone again. I have notice that the repair/usage numbers have dropped over time, so it must work when needed. I glad that it does because I have too much upgrade in them to loose again.

I've never used a Drone Rep Chip and never will. At 90% damage I reset all my drones manually in the Hanger back to level 5 @ 0 damage . Each time I get popped up do 50% drone damage it is 2 points in damage to the drones. After 50% damage to the drones it is 1 point damage to every pop I receive.
These [Auto Settings] being a cpu or in [Settings] I have NO FAITH in coming from DO. It's like buying a 2018 Lexus and the CPU went out in it . It will cost you a fortune and inconvenience for repairs compared to my 1969 Camaro were I can do it for pennies . Rule # 1 Never jump onto the Game Client w/o first checking your ship out [including drones] and checking your clan for *Important Messages* ...

 

has bigpoint come into their senses and removed the % of drones popping regardless if it was 100%? it's been a while since i played and could not find a post about it.

I use Drone Repair CPU, but like Gudinden said manually is all good. Keep an eye on damage and take care of it. DO things seem not to always work.
