Hello All,

If there are many GB1 players on the forums, you will know I am the hermit inhabitant of 5-2, it is my home.

I am very very close to obtaining the I-Oil required to get a new ship.

The question is, which one would be best equipped for my pirate bashing, I personally was looking at the HammerClaw, with its increased rep amounts applied to the HP and Shield reps, aswell as the increased amount of rep you get from the pod. Also with its 2 rocket launchers, I see this as a good investment for myself.

Note I am UFE and have all the uber goodies to populate the ship to the gills.

Opinions please, and as usual no flaming or moaning that "pirates are boring" (I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for Jack Sparrow and his buddies ).

Hammerclaw. Hammerclaw is becoming an Aegis with Goliath stats. When I used to be on pirates farming things with group, I used Solace, but as solo, I use Aegis Elite with Diamond. The reason why I used Solace was the damage. That lacks me using the Aegis Elite, as everything takes a bit longer to kill, but you can survive longer with Diamond though.

Hammerclaw, after the patch, will fulfill both of my requirements, therefore I am personally going for it. It has almost the damage of Goliath, speed of Goliath, more HP and the shield of Goliath as well, if not counting the Solace 10% bonus. Hopefully this opinion helps you out.

 

I see a lot of Hammerclaws in the Pirate maps on US2 (West Coast) and they seem to be bashing them without stop and use of the Base protection like many other ships do. So I would go for it IF I were more active and sure I was keeping my accounts through the merger process. BUT since this is the elephant in the Orbit I am not doing much until it has been announced what they are doing with it OFFICIALLY. Nothing like investing time and money just to have it stripped when they restrict access to an account that was played on another server which is now ONE and they cancel the extra account.

 

I took cyborg myself. For pirates yes hsmmerclaw is better for constant bashing. But for raw power and economy Cyborg is better. As 10% damage boost is just the best in game. That is why I chose it.

That is just my opinion.

 

That question was asked long time ago and it was a promise that you can access all your accounts even if they were merged together.

 

This has gone back and forth so many times I have given up on knowing what is going to happen until it is actually done. I have ONE login for these 2 accounts I would like to know HOW they plan on separating them into 2 different logins? But since they do not even want to give notice of the servers looking at being MERGED together it says they are flying by the seat of their pants and don't really know what they plan to do.

 

Maybe because all the servers will still exist. The MERGE will concern the maps (the different servers players are gonna play in the same maps). But the action to switch server, so your accounts, will still be available.

For bashing pirates I advise you Hammerclaw ofc.

 

The MERGE is going to eliminate some servers and as such CHOICES and IF my alternate server is gone then the associated account is no longer selectable and thus GONE, as I understand it they are moving entire servers not individual accounts.

BUT THEN this is what I am talking about when I said "gone back and forth".

 

Well, as I have designed also some websites and stuff, I would do it same way as the server list thingy. So there would be a new button, which makes a new window or a drop-down menu where you choose an account to use in that server. That is the most efficient way. Of course, I would add a premium feature here to nickname your accounts (because most likely the name would be your pilot name in there lol) to make more profit yes? No, to add a feature which was taken away when hangar halls were completely removed.

But it is not impossible to merge two ships under same account under same server.
