[SC] Tractor beam I

I have a question on this skill. I have never used it, but as I have just stated playing again after 7 long years away from the game this skill has me wondering If I should add it...

Increase cargo loot by 1 % I guess the most is 5%. However, it says Cargo Box Loot, that means droppings from Alien kills Also I guess, Space Ball too right? Maybe even the Cube Graveyard if I am not mistaken Tractor beam I that is Dippings too right... 5% is not a lot but every bit counts in this game.... since I am opening mines I need to decide which way to go Cruelty or Tractor Beam 1 to get my 3 pp in Alien Hunter...

So, maybe that extra % may help in box pick ups...

 

You are a PvP player and as such you are not looking for the credits from picking up Cargo drops. I do not play Spaceball but aren't the drops more like Bonus Boxes (rewards) instead of Cargo Drops (refining ores).

Go for Cruelty. This GUIDE might help with some of your questions.

 

I have never really used the Tractor Beam 1 or 2... I have always had a battle set up for my ships. The Reason I was really looking into it is because I am opening Detonation along with Explosives which is one of my favored skills.

To Make a long story short. I have a choice Cruelty or Tractor Beam 1 to open Alien Hunter so then I can open final Detonation. Never the less, I have alway used Cruelty. But, I am not much in to Honor or nothing like that, I am more into Killing, I could give a rats butt about being General, as long as I get my daily kills I am happy with that. I fly around all over the maps looking for kills

And the Reason I was asking is because if I ever get to the graveyard and do space ball events I like to get more gates spins, More GG spins more ammo more kills. Cruelty gives honor, thats not my bag, I get that anyways, Tractor could really be helpful now that I think about it, if it works the way I think it does it may have some good use. I know there are guys they want to be on the top row and will do anything for honor lol... As long as I kill they can die for the tops spots doesn't do me any good to be on top, I end up there anyways once the killing starts. Funny part is I don't really care for top ranks the system puts me there once I start grinding, I don't even do quest the quest don't pay till you get to level 22 so I will wait for those quest. Have to relearn now such a short time I have been on game I have 50 LF4s now lol. Come to find out they are only good for Pet now lol I have better chance to get 20 old LF4s than to get one green one.

 

I know you do not grind NPC's and it is there ORES that get affected by tractor beam 1. Tractor Beam II is what you want for bonus box increases.

 

TB I affects cargo loot, ones containing the in-game ores.
TB II affects any loot containing ammo, monetary, etc. Even Spaceball cargo is affected by TB II

TB I is not required to get TB II, and TB II is commonly used for boxing.
