[SC] "I'M GOING TO CLOSE THIS THREAD"

Hi All,

I had a Post "Pick Your Target" up and a few people reply. For those that did not read it, it was about how can people pick a target in the middle of a huge mess of targets. I can't do it and I can't even see what's under all that mess to pick a target I wanted. There were several answers mostly it came down too cheaters and blotters.

Then I wrote my thoughts on these auto programs that are out there for cheaters and blotters use. Now I haven't seen the programs nor do I know where to get one even if I wanted one.

Here is my quote:

"I have thoughts on those programs that runs your ship for you. Because there is a back door or hole in the program, I think the programmers of D O made the third party programs. That will run in D O game. The programmers know the DO program and they know where the back doors are. So it make scents that they could do this or would do this. It is another way for them to make money in the game selling the third party program so cheater can cheat. That's why it hasn't stopped. That's why they let them run wild too.

It is my opinion, but what do I know. I do know this. I seen players that have started after me wearing their shields."

Now Deter, I think is a good guy and he has helped me in the pass. Just because the topic has changed a little why shut it down unless I'm hitting the nail on the head.

The discussion changed to a TOPIC that they have a dedicated thread to deal with and they do not want to have any more threads discussing IT. The conversations were also hitting too close to the TRUTH and these seem to be "DELETED" or "CLOSED" to prevent "FLAMING". Even closing items in "Speakers Corner" because they are not happy with the discussion path.

 

1. They closed it because they have a thread about it already
2. Those "auto-lock" programs haven't existed since 2013, there have been attempts to bring it back but failed due to bans. (There may be some but quite rare)
3. The "cheater" community think that auto-locks is just taking it too far and don't want it back either, and is generally frowned upon too

 

Sorry Bounty. That ship sailed when they killed jack pot battle because the 'specials' went blatant and won it. Its not outside apps or people all of the time giving the store away. Sometimes there are people sharing things that they should not.

Then again maybe that's why no one cares about that cheater/botter thread. No one really pays any attention anyway.

 

Also just like to add that i have accidentally locked players that were surrounded by aliens i mean think about it when your trying to move when there are a large group of aliens around you the thing to do is not to click an alien it's to click a free space on the screen for your ship to start moving otherwise your just clicking aliens. So naturally chances are good that if a ship is in that clearing even ever so small you would lock that ship. Not disputing that there are no cheats for sure just saying that sometimes players don't have the experience or haven't yet experienced things like this that open their eyes to what could happen by luck. Oh I have done that Tic. Hit a spot to move away from a bunch of Aliens that are around me, but only hitting a ship. Sometimes the ship is cloaked too, and that scares me. Is it one of ours or another company. Most cloaked ships are waiting for the right time to attack when you are at your weakest. Its an easy killed for them when your down and almost out. That is how I die most of the time. What to do is my first thought when I lock on to a cloak ship. Attack or run, mostly I watch and move away to heal after being in a Round Up. I change config and select my player ammo so I'm at the ready if they attack. Round Up to me is when there are a lot of aliens that have circle you and attacking or hiding others as they attack. It could be other players attacking you too, but mostly its aliens. It is like in the old cowboys and Indians movies where the Indians are circling the cowboys and shooting at them. I don't think that really happen in real life, but it was for the movies I guess.

That is why I started all this. How can a person lock on to one alien that is under a stack of others. I can't even see them, but time after time I have seen people do just that even in my own company too.

I wanted to know how. In the first post, I found out it was another cheater's program, and I was hoping it was changing some settings on your computer. Nothing is ever easy I guess. So I'll will keep fighting and do my best. Thank you all for your help and commits. You were helpful and in the Forum I learn a lot and meet some very smart people too.
