[TI] captcha not working for codes and auction house....

i cant place any bids in the auction house because the captcha isnt the correct one and it fails no matter what i do same with the code that comes out today the captcha is invaild

I recieved the same reply as Mehmet, but they also said that it will be investigated in germany tomorrow or day after tomorrow and they will announce possible alternative rewards

 

Yea, I've had the same issues than U$$k1ttyHAWK. About a week ago the auction house worked perfectly fine, and even when I still got those captcha codes, I was able to write the code and it succesfully did it. Now, I can't place any bids on anything because everytime I get the captcha code and it wants me to prove that I'm not a robot. Everytime it showed that it believes I'm not a robot and it shows the green correct mark. Then I click send and it always says that the verification code didn't succeed. This annoys me so much... PLEASE TRY TO FIX THIS, THANK YOU

 

There have been several threads giving a heads up on the Captcha issue, the Main Page for NEW players, the Auction, the Voucher Codes, everything that D O has needing the Verification. But Captcha, Flash, Videos, and Chat are all controlled by third parties and out of D O's control, this means they can not do anything to fix it except tell us to be patient and they will advise us when resolved (sound familiar).

 

Sorry to disagree as they CAN do something about it.
They can FIRE the ones responsible for this 3rd party "STUFF" and pay for better "STUFF".

I was not supporting them I was giving the excuses they give when we bring up the shortfalls of why they do not work. Chat is no longer D O but Big Point's Chat used for all of their games and D O can not make changes to it. Flash issues are with FLASH and as Adobe is no longer creating fixes it is our problem, Captcha made a change and D O has not adapted to it so WE, the community, suffer, the Video's for EE or Skylab Transfers not working is OUR problem as D O gets their revenue whether we see the ads or not. The community does not matter to D O or they would correct these issues instead of washing their hands of them.

Not everyone is being jammed up buy this - wish i was one of the people that were lucky enough to keep bidding in the auctions.
They will get all kinds of awesome payouts with little to no investment :O

 

it's a issue with the captcha plugin.

it seems to read the new one, wich is a image-based thing. but it waits for the old captcha response, a text-based one.

so yeah, it's bp's fault they don't test the plugin.

 

They should at least close the auction until this is solved, it is unfair that people get stuff like skill desings in bargain price

 

Those with the issue in AUCTION, have you cleared you Browser History, and Flash Cache? I have been unable to get the photo array of Captcha until I did that, but found the Voucher Code is still invalid after passing the Captcha test.

According to the dev team the issue with the captcha should be resolved in this week's sync on Thursday. They are also aware of the code issue. If they can not get an extension on it they will try to have it included as a log in bonus, Either of which will be announced once there is more information.

Yep, cleared browser and flash caches on 3 different OS (MS, iOS, Chrome; each on their own machine), and still cannot pass Captcha.

 

Was working fine last week, but not this week. Also, the captcha is off center, so that may be apart of one of the reasons.

 

Unfortunately CSS styling does not actually affect to the functioning of captchas. Cascading Style Sheets is a style sheet language, not a programming one.

If you didn't quite catch up, with CSS you can define how everything is displayed, combined with HTML.

 

Why is it that some players, SEEM to know more about how this game works OR is supposed to work, than those that are paid to know????????
..just asking.............

 

Developers know how it is supposed to work, but players know how the game really works. Sad but true fact to be honest.
