[SC] Correct me if I am wrong!!

Is the intention of the forums to get information from other players on issues seen in the Game?

Make suggestions (and get feedback) on ideas of items to add to the Game?

Be able to assist players with issues they are having to expedite their return to an enjoyable experience in the Orbit?

I know I am seen in many threads and there has been a lot of threads created trying to CENSOR my input, whether accurate or not, and I have had several postings that were right on the mark that were DELETED (the TRUTH really HURTS), funny thing is I let everyone know I am "Always watching NEW POSTS" and do read them ALL (the exception is some of the media library threads or threads that I have no interest in after reading the O P).

IF a person has an idea and they DON'T want the input about the idea, would it not be better to suggest it on DISCORD or directly to SUPPORT?

I have seen that there is someone who will attack anyone, who posts in their thread, that does not agree 100% with their suggestion or idea. It was my understanding the more postings in an IDEA meant more people were interested in the topic and might get it looked at from the TEAM quicker, OR am I WRONG?

You did state everything correctly.
There is only one thing you have missed: in most cases (not just in this game, though) when someone posts an idea, they expect that everyone should (or, will) stand behind that idea, no matter what. I believe that has to do more with the psychology of the human being, rather than anything else. Most people when stating something, they think by default that their idea is the best, and must be always implemented. When someone dissagrees, they are being irritated and thus get in verbal argument. On the other hand, there are always people that will say "No" without giving a specific reason why. This may also lead to a verbal argument getting out of control damn fast.

I would also like to make a point about post censoring - I believe that NO post should be censored, EVER. In the online world we are living today, everyone has the right to speak equally as the others. Everyone should state the opinion and facts, and be on topic as long as it doesn't get things out of control. If things get out of control, there are other methods to make things right and under control.

I also want to say that the post I wrote in here, about MY OPINIONS, got deleted.

Everything you said is about right. Most people (players) tend to give ideas about anything in the game, but then, they expect everything to be implemented. And it is ok, as long as you can accept different opinions about the given idea. When someone disagrees without stating the reason why, people tend to get tilted and get into verbal arguments with almost anyone. I believe this has a psychological background, but I highly disapprove it.

Also, I believe in the FREE SPEECH. Everyone should be able to state out opinions, without being censored (as long as rules are not being broken).

Damn, the original post appeared above, somehow. What a miracle this is! To the OP, please read the post of mine above, that is what I have initially written before it disappeared for good (or not).

 

Thank you for your views. IF I have ever commented on an idea either positive or negative I always do so with more than just a one line answer, I may offer suggestions to add to the idea or suggest a different implementation of their idea. But then there is always the one person who feels they have all the rights afforded by freedom of speech, yet want to censor anyone who makes any other suggestions along the same lines.

 

Hmm, that is very strange. Basically, I see no reason for someone to do so, as long as the conversation is not breaking any rules. Either way, if I want to say something, or discuss on some topic, I always state my opinion. If someone doesn't like what I am discussing about, they can see them self out.

I don't think you should take that behavior for granted, nor worry about it. People will always complain about everything, you cannot change that. Maybe you should just move along with it.

I hate to say this, but people only want to hear themselves. There are those that think they are right when wrong. Then there are a few who think they are wrong that are right. They just need to hear it sometimes by other people. Then some just want to speak out with out replying to then. If someone does they cry foul. Helping hands get slapped here, or censers then cut you out. I have experience that and I have watched others post get turn off, or a person crying saying you can't say that. Limiting speech verbal or written is a crime on humanity. We the people have a desire to express ourselves, but we also have the responsibility to express it in a more positive and true full way. Not spew out garbage which some due. There isn't any room for abuse. I for one don't like abuse, so I don't try to abuse other. The Golden Rule is a rule to follow. We are here as one group to play one game. We come together here to speak out for help, ideas, and make friends. We all need to understand that people are people and stepping on toes doesn't help. If you read something you don't like that is ok. Point out your points of disagreement and have fun. Not calling out names, and DO shutting you down because it might hit the nail on the head.

Then there are people who answer post a lot. I for one read a lot of post, and make comments on a few too. Sometimes I'm more here than playing. There is one person I only know by post. I will call him friend even though I do not know him by name or face. He has help me many of a time and I seen him get slam for his help. There are others out there too that help and post a lot. I am glad that they are not thin skin. I seen many battle of words and could see both sides too. When it starts getting dirty, stop take a shower. We don't need that here. I glad there are there. I may not agree with some of their post, and most of the time I move on after I read it. A few time I don't.

Knowledge is power, and you can find a lot of power in these post.

As I said before and got censored: Opinions are like *** OOOO everyone has one and most of them stink.

I know and been told here I'm a nut. I look at the world in rose color glasses. Well I do. I try to see the good in people. I may get hurt, but what are we here for. We are here to make the world better not worse. Here in our little world of DO. I see the good, the bad, and the ugly. What do you see, and where would you want to go?
