[TI] Iris drone

For some reason in bids an Iris drone was available to me even though I had a full compliment of level 16 Iris drones, I bid on it, won it now I have lost one of my Level 16 drones, why?

It is part of the game. It is a bummer but it happens. It shouldn't let you buy or bid on a 9th Iris Drone but it does sometimes. You are only allow to have 8 Iris Drone. You got a 9th Iris Drone so you had to lose one which was a better one than you just got. One good thing you didn't lose its equipment. That went back into inventory. Sorry about your lost, been there an done that too.

The max drones is ten, and that is 8 Iris, 1 apis, and 1 zeus. When you get higher or more parts, then you can start to build the Spartan Drone. It takes one of your old drones, Havoc, Hercules design, and Schism Crystal to build one of these. I haven't yet for two reason 1 really don't want to loose a 16th level drone, and 2 don't have the Schism Crystal too.

so the game is glitched and I lose a level 16 drone and associated Uri to get it to that level, complaint to support me thinks!!

Yes a ticket to Support may get your level 16 Iris returned where it is supposed to be.

Add your User ID Number and what Server you are on when talking to Support or any DO people when you are having problems. That way they know who you are and where you are too.

They may not fix the problem, but you gave them the information to do so,

It shouldn't even allow you to bid on 9th Iris drone to be honest. The Iris disappears completely from Auction once you reach the cap of drones. So you either have lost one drone without checking it (check from the logs) and you haven't noticed you miss one drone and bid or then something really weird has happened.

I rarely believe something like this would actually stop working, as most of the bugs we have now has existed since the feature itself. This feature has been since 200X and I don't think it would've been stopped working since 2014 Auction update. Personally I haven't seen stuff like this, but maybe it's just me. But on this case, I won't expect the game glitching, no matter what bugs in the game actually has.

 

The OP claims the Auction is glitched and allowed him to see the 9th Iris, as you say I am not so sure as I do not see it. The Logs showing a destroyed drone is more feasible but either way the only fix to the problem is a ticket to Support as they are the only ones who can return the level 16 Drone if it was lost because of the Auction won 9th Iris Drone.

 

Curiosity has the best of me now. Did you have any resolve about this issue with support?
