[UI] Let the pet collect booty boxes.

Hello all,

I wanna request a adjustment to the pet. Let the Pet Collect Booty boxes. It's maybe a lazy idea. But there are many players with 5k-20k keys nowadays who never gonna collect them. So the new feature could make it interesting again to collect again loot from booty keys.

 

I find it hard to imagine there are people with that many keys...

 

No, it's not hard. I have a friend who complains every day having a lot of keys but no motivation to collect as it would waste their life. Hades bashers really get a lot of keys especially if they don't collect. You can make around 4 Hades per hour and if you even play 24 hours like some people do, it's 96 Hades and Hades gives 8 booty keys per gate, so it's already 768 keys per day.

Like others said having so many keys blows my mind. I'm luck if I have a hundred keys (Green) at one time. Most of the time it is less a lot less. Don't talk about the other keys. I don't have any of these, but I do like the Idea of letting your P.E.T. getting another job. Sometimes fighting and collecting don't go hand and hand.

Sapphire, I don't know how you do it with the math. If that is true wow. As for the Hades Gate, I have given up trying to go there. I can't find people, when I'm playing and trying to get in, who want to enter the gate with me. It is built and ready, but no group.

No offence but I found the following sentence the most hilarious one I have EVER seen in the 4 years that I have been playing Darkorbit (this is ment positive ):

How, the hell, did he got the keys without wasting his life in the first place.

I never had more fun 'playing' this game than after reading this sentence. I do get your point now however so I am all for now!

Wasting money for certain things might be more valuable (so not so necessary a waste) than for other things. Same applies to time in the life.

 

You will find the Gate Bashers who are running gates with DOUBLE REWARDS are collecting a great stock of these and doing it very quickly. They Pally all week long and spin Gates or Buy Uridium so they can build them on discount weekends and only run the Gates for any actual in-game activity. As many of them are UFE they do not even care about the rewards just the Honor to maintain their ill gotten rank.

 

Not sure I agree with this Gate Basher thing. Seems to me if they choose to fly gates for NPC's instead of maps whats the real difference.
They have to shoot the alien just the same either way. Their scores add up just as equal as anybody's. Could be they are tired of being bothered with cross-company clans and others always after them. Could be they do not even enjoy any PVP, which is truly their choice, their enjoyment of game and no fault can be found with that. By utilizing double rewards they are frugal. You can't jam somebody for going after a bargain. I also do not see their rank as ill gotten as it is based on the same system, equally, as everybody else and is no less noteworthy because it may be earned differently than another's.

 

Don't find a problem with what your suggesting but do not understand why. If they are so unimportant to bother with why collect them at all, with anything? While it is quite possible to acquire your great number of keys what I find amazing is that you do not collect them. What pray-tell do you do the entire time your online? If it is none stop shoot aliens and other players then you are buying ammo that is in those boxes for you. Also it only becomes a great task like any tasks when you let it build up on you.
