[GI] Pet Gear

How good is the sacrificial flame gear lvl 3? What exactly does the combo guard mode gear do? Can I heal my ship with my pet in mid-battle?

 

Not sure about the Sacrificial Flame lvl 3, but on lvl 4 it's pretty okay. Combo Guard Mode Gear does that it uses 35% more fuel than normally, when P.E.T is getting shot. The gear has 85% chance to completely guard itself from taking damage (meaning that it works like an Instashield and enemy can deal only MISS), the rest 15% can hit the P.E.T normally.

About mid-battle, yes if you haven't took a part in fight (meaning P.E.T haven't shot, you haven't shot, you haven't took damage, P.E.T haven't took damage) in certain amount time if you have the Combo Repair Gear.

Yes one further question.
So if I have both the Combo Ship Repair Gear (lvl 3) and Combo Guard Mode Gear equipped on my pet, I can use my pet to repair my ship simultaneously while I'm shooting an enemy whether it be pvp or pve?

 

Hi,

Gears can only be used one at a time ,regardless of the gear(s) and level of gear. In this case, Combo Ship Repair Gear and Combo Guard Mode Gear. Some gear like Combo Ship Repair Gear require you not be attacking or being attacked for said gear to work.

That being said, the Battle Repair Bot can be used anytime even while in battle. You can purchase/build them in the tech center

How long after being shot to no longer getting shot do I have to wait to use Combo Ship Repair Gear? So Combo Guard Mode Gear does nothing to benefit my ship, only my pet?

Hi,

The Combo Guard Mode protects the PET against taking damage from other players during PVP. WHen hunting NPCs it is best to just stay in Guard Mode.
