[UI] End discrimination against the PLT-3030

I want the PLT-3030 Rocket to be buffed.
Essential & Necessary Improvements:
· Increase the PLT-3030 Rocket hit chance 65% to 90%
· Increase the PLT-3030 Rocket price 7 U to 10 U.

Non-essential but Suggested Improvements:
· Increase the PLT-3030 Rocket damage 6,000 to 7,500.

Highly Unlikely & possibly Over-powering suggestions:
· Increase the PLT-3030 Rocket range 600 to 750

 

Many people use the Targeter from the TECH Center for the 100% when using the 3030 rockets and do not want to pay the additional cost for them. These are a longer range rocket and allow you to not take as many hits when using them and is also why they are not as accurate as the shorter range 2021's.

 

Hang on there, the PLT-2021 and PLT-3030 have the exact same range right???

I agree with this buff, the low hit percentage basically forces you to have rocket-techs if you want to use the PLT-3030.

 

That's the point. These two came out pretty same time, the tech and the rocket.

But seriously, you're on to something, rockets seem to be overlooked by many players.

For your essential & necessary changes: I do agree that the uridium price should be raised to 10 U. per piece, if and only if your non-essential but suggested improvement condition is met; that the damage is raised from 6,000 to 7,500 . . . or perhaps even more.

+This would also push people to (hopefully) buy more rocket-oriented drone formations; such as the Chevron or Star. When was the last time you ever saw a non-Leonov player use these formations in a fight?

+Raising rocket damage would do especially well for countering the Spectrum's special ability -- as the ability does not counter against rockets. There are multiple reasons to increase the 3030's damage, if not every rocket's base damage, even if only slightly.

However, I do not think the hit chance should be increased to 90%. If it was, then what would be the use for the target-precisioner in the skylab?

 

target-precisioner effect need buff to 100% hot chance + Double rocket damage

 

True Targeter from the TECH Center It say 100%... but it misses at times nothing is 100% lol Its almost full proof tho
I use it with these rockets and all rockets works good for me You have better chance for rockets not to miss if you want 100 100% Then open Heat Seeking in skill tree and put the 5 pp in there then use the Tect Center for back up lol

If your rockets continue to miss I dont know what to say contact support

 

Sorry I mis spoke range is not defined for 3030 but 6000 HP damage is the reason given in the >FAQ< for the loss of accuracy but again is the reason for using the Tech Center Targeter for the accuracy boost.

 

Hmmm, I haven't experienced this issue since 2010. Also afaik, PLD does affect on rockets as well, can test it again.

I'd still rather use Alien Hunter over these.

 

I dont think Alien Hunter Works... I had 5 pp in there didnt notice any increase to alien damage... I only open Alien Hunter for Tech Mines is the only reason I use it I would not use it al all since Bat Formation works better than that lol

 

It works. Regularly you shoot to aliens same amount of damage you can shoot to enemies with BH2, with alien hunter you shoot more. It's nice how people have odd problems that I don't have, every time, hard to believe who says what.
