  2. I think it's just [REMOVED] All I can say, so I go from 1053.068 shields down to 886,305 same config from yesterday.

    I'm not happy with it at all.

    So much for the open beta testing (that never happened ), it should have been called the unbalance patch. Many players have paid good money only to have things down graded and feel they have been ripped off.

    I rejoice with the tartarus nerf. Meanwhile I don't understand ring getting nerfed when we have dmg of 300k :confused: same goes for spectrum and solace. Moth nerf doesn't make difference for me and rsb is ok I guess.

    Happy with almost all the changes made:

    -Moth change was needed, now people will have to think twice before using moth.

    -Solace change was also needed, haveng few solaces on a group, u could make everyone to stay healthy almost all the time.

    -Tartarus was way too fast in the past, with this change, other ships will have the chance to catch the tartarus, the tartarus will still be fast, but it will take a bit longer for the tartarus to get out of the reach of other ships.

    -Spectrum change is also good, instead of having 30 seconds of almost invulnerability, you only have 15 now.

    -Ring change was kinda meh, will just have to get used to play with less shield, we used to play with Hearth formation all the time before the introduction of Ring(and the dmg was the same as now) and everything was kinda fine, its just matter of getting used to have a little less shield.

    they paid knowing it was unbalanced.

    it's a fact.

    now ring heart needs a 5% cut on somewhere, shields or hp, or both...

    DBA could follow suit with an extra 2% shield cap.

    This is the Rapid Fire ability on Tartarus, RSB = Rapid Salvo Battery, which is pretty close though.

    Moth nerf was good, but in my opinion, not enough. I think the penetration should be lowered to 10%, Double Arrow to increase 20% versus NPC or alternatively make Moth work 10% for PvP and 20% for NPC. Well whatever.

    The Solace nerf was useless, even though it's better they didn't change the cooldown to 8 minutes.

    Spectrum should have been 20 seconds instead of 15 (was supposed to be 22). Otherwise I agree the changes. Waiting the next balance patch. ^^

    It's funny, the people who complain about Spectrum and Ring, are the ones who run them 24/7 and can't leave a portal without their Spec ability recharged. Spectrum was the most broken ship in game, and they did a great job nerfing it. The fact that if used at the right time, you could survive a fight against a group of 8 and maybe even pull off a kill or 2.. c'mon. It's like moth, even the worst pvpers were getting kills, or in the case with Spectrum, escaping. Most people who use Spectrum don't use it to kill people, they use it to survive, but if you're a pvp player like me, you knew how to use Chevron, and Diamond formations with your Spectrum to get kills in uneven fights. Then there was base killing, 8 Spectrums all using ability. Even if you have Spearheads on stand by, the recharge time on Spectrum is way faster.

    Ring formation nerf.. ya it will get some getting used to, but again, coincides w/ spectrum, just a cheap use of defense to run around the maps and feel secure. in full outfit groups, these guys would have 2.5 mil or so shields just on their speed side. It just didn't make sense. Unfortunately.. I've heard from a very reliable and credible source here on this very forum (you can take a guess who) that this is just a temporary thing because BO3s will be coming out after all the servers merge. Remember years ago BO3s were already tested on test servers, so I am assuming they already have them ready to go. At that time, it was when upgrades were all out of wack, so it would be crazy to have had them then, as you would have 4 mil shields on 1 side with a heart.

    I think the balancing patch was excellent, except one issues, and that is the way Solace works now. Now anyone who actually PvP's like doesn't run around in Ring and Spectrum and think they're good because they don't die.. knows that Solace was really the only battle ship that can also be a support role. I think the self healing is fair, but the amount it gives group members, not so much. It should have been a specific number that gets dispersed evenly amongst the amount of people in your outfit. So if it's just you and 1 other person, you could heal them 75% with your ability. If 3 people, you can heal them 50% each, and so on.. i don't know the exact numbers, those are likely wrong. It should be a base of 200k that gets split between the members.

  10. Not all players are Ufe and use Spectrum with Ring. DarkOrbit isn't a beginner friendly game, newbes will be slaughtered merciless. Ring formation was one of the only option for giving enough time before getting one-shot. The formation was annoying in Ufe vs Ufe fights, however a game shouldn't only be focused on the wallet warriors.

    Bruh. I used Spectrum for CBS destruction and now for that the ship is completely useless. Shoot few shots and retreat, otherwise you're dead.
