[SC] MY P.E.T. AND BONUS BOXES

Hi All,

I'm just trying to understand my P.E.T.. When we are out, he is on auto loot most of the time. He is picking up the white bonus boxes as I fly around. Now I don't understand why he will fly over one and pick up a different one as I sit a wait. Or he will fly to one that there are two sitting next to each other picking one up, and fly away to one that is farther away to pick that one up. Then he will go back an pick up the second one. I don't know why he doesn't pick both of them up since they were together.

Your thoughts on this because I'm lost to explain why.

Because the Pet is programmed like that... It uses a specific algorithm to see and collect the boxes and if new boxes pop up they get added at the end of the line.

 

my pet will fly by 19 boxes and compete with me on the box i am trying to collect. i have just accepted the fact that my pet has a mental deficiency and enjoy his lunacy lol. fly safe my brother angus

Thank you for your replies.

Tsamsiyu its all math and program can be change. I just think DO could do better for us. Because if it was a real world, as a Pilot, we would control our P.E.T. a lot better and program it to our bidding. Way it flies around it waste's more fuel to do a job I want it to do. Again DO wants us to spend our Uridium so we buy more, and that is one reason (I think) they have it program that way.

I was hoping DO will take notice and one day fix the problem. After it fixes all the others. Haha. It just blow me away that two boxes sit on top of each other and P.E.T. picks up one just to fly off the screen to get another one just to fly back and get the one it missed.

I love my P.E.T. and all it does for me in collecting items. It be nice that it had a combo (Gear or Protocol) that will pick up bonus boxes and Pirate Booty boxes (as long as you had Keys) as it flies around. It could be like "Enemy Locator" instead of it finding you a certain enemy you pick the key/Pirate Booty Box you want to your P.E.T. get. That would leave you freedom to fight and move.
