[SC] What's the reason for doubling the cost for reseting pilot bio?

Could anyone tell me a logical explanation on why this is a feature?

 

pay to play and pay to win maybe? old story.

 

lol game is already pay to win, f2p players will never be able to reach the lvl that money can do... Now dont tell me a story of f2p players who reached UFE status... cuz I can count them on fingers...

 

The main reason for the Cost is to force you to think about the direction you are going BEFORE going in that direction. Early you might go for a Boxing Bio, then after becoming FE change to a PvE to help you getting the quests done and practicing for PvP and finally a PvP Bio as you have mastered the rest of the game and you want to master the Killing of players instead of computer controlled images.

Very good question - I think previous team design it that way to prevent players from resetting PP all the time so players have to chose carefully what they applying to the profile. I wish they change it so players can try new ways to experience the game.

YES as i have , and its not just what you have said but also the game changes too making you want to chnge bio .... but then it gets far too expensive to be reasonable to alter your bio again ,,,to alter mine would cost me if i bought the uri 500 gbp.

This reason alone doesn't make sense. Is there a way we could let the dev team know? There should be another system in place for this like using seprom or some other resource that takes time to get, that way, you wouldn't be able to change your pilot bio multiple times in a short amount (where the reason you gave me aims for).

I think it could also be made that you have a limit of how many times you could reset it in a certain amount of time, and of course, you could pay uridiums to take out this cap so you can make money out of it as usual.

 

Not sure how someone could be confused about this after playing four years. Toby's explanation makes perfect sense and has been discussed in many threads within the past year alone. I would ask the OP how much you are looking at paying for your next reset, and possibly why you are resetting it again. If I was to reset mine again, and trust me when I say there better be a very good reason for me to do it, it will cost me 30400 uri. If the amount for reset was too low, constantly, players would get to where they would reset weekly. I say weekly because you still have to make the seprom to place everything.

It is all about the money.

One good thing you get is, you get to keep your Log disk points. I would really hate to lose those 50th points. They cost of dollar$ and Uri to buy log disk that took a long time. I did it once and once was enough. Sep I can make, and credits I can get by killing aliens, but Uri or cash to get log disk that hurts and is hard to come by for me.

If you make a change think where you want to go. There are several ideas here and a lot of help too.
