[TEI] ANOTHER BAD MANAGED EVENT

Still doesn't stop enemy & MCCs grabbing boxes they didn't win.. so you cannot collect them with 20-30 of them sat on gate waiting ... the boxes should be same as in demaner event.. visible/ collectable only to those who shot at ball from scoring company...

Plus NO event missions today, so cannot get points to get seprom.. need 1500.. so that sucks too.

 

when I attempted to play the world cup event all that happened was me getting pounced on by a MCC lets be realistic a lot of the events that come out simply aren't playable especially if they are anything remotely related to spaceball MCC dominate this game if you want to cube around them you will have to leave the map or wait till they are gone or you will get shot by 30different people and their allies I do believe some type of penalty should exist for this is just waiting to see what type of penalty maybe something like if a vru in a MCC assisted his clan mate who is in another confed kill another vru who isn't in a war with them lose honor anyway just as if he solo killed him maybe that would put these MCC under control or at least stop them from flat out controlling events they are supposed to be for EVERYONE and now just THAT CLAN

 

MCC players spend big money on the game. DO will do absolutely nothing to discourage this trend. Spaceball has been like this FOREVER with cloaked goofs grabbing boxes at port and players being ganged up on by MCCs and groups for kills. Live with it or work around it. It's just an event to feed the money players.

 

well in gb1 mixed clans have taken space cup over and only allow their freinds to ta ke part i witnessed 2 mmo draging the ball with eic and vru members of same clan keepin everyone else away and d.o talk about hon bout time they took away hon penalty wen changing company perhaps that will help

 

how about an event that requires a map that no player can shoot another and fill it with aliens and weird events and quests then perhaps then everyone is capable of getting into the map and participating,current space cup is for the mixed clan ufes as no companys fight together no more (hard to tell whos who anymore)

 

I agree with everything said before, and I must add something which is really a big problem in this event. There are obviously people who can see boxes before others. I'm not saying they are like 'cheating' but I'm pointing out to the problem where Bigpoint servers are sending data and there is a slight delay in receiving data to some people. It's quite clear that some players can see it before others and that's why they usually get 1-2 boxes per each goal. Also, this is NOT a connection problem (lower downloading/uploading speed or so)! This (the event) was clearly tested in certain area where this problem didn't occur and obviously no one didn't consider this might happen.

I'm not talking about boxes not showing at all, but the time between showing items, in this case mayhems and normal cargos to different people. It's only a second or half a second difference but still enough have advantage on this event. If you take a closer look you will see that there are certain amount of people who already start rushing to the boxes and the moment they are visible to you, they are already on them.

Another thing that I would also like to point out is that mayhems only appear at certain area around the portal. Spawn places are basically only left and above the port, with most of them located "northwest" of the gate. In my opinion they should be randomly dropped in the same area as all normal SB boxes.

Those are half of the available quest...
If you are happy about wasting 30k+ event points only because DO put unachievable quest...

 

another prob with one of the quests is to kill 140 ppl in 4-4 ..im an 8 drone 10 lf4( lvl 16s) i cant take on fes or ufes so its total suicde for me to attempt this quest but i cant progress through the quests untill ive done the quest with 140 kills many pilots are in this position totally unacheivable but hey no body listens i swear d.o do it deliberatly so we end up us fodder for there paying customers

 

IF you group with a UFE and get the lock and start the attack you will get the credit for the kill. No one likes the cloakers around the portal so you could lock them direct your friend to their location and start attacking them they will either die or uncloak and then your assistant can defend you.

 

You do realize most of the big guns (UFE) doing the event are in groups with other UFE, so unless you know these guys or are in their clan you don't get into their groups.
NB; Limits on how many can be in a group means there isn't room for anyone who can't pull their weight.

While I do see the logic behind your post, the practically of it falls short as a solution.
