[GI] MERGER

Hi All,

I am on GB2 and it was merged with GB1. I think because GB1 is no longer listed. Now when I fly gb2_my name is shown. When I'm in the auction house, I see other pilots there without their server name attached to their name. I do see my server pilots there with gb2 attached with their names. Why is our server attached to our name are we special? Is it because we are in another server or there in mine? If we merged we should all be the same unless DO is going to split us again. That way they know who is who. I don't know. Any thoughts on this?

DO is under a deadline to complete Server Merges ... How many teams DO employ for the Merges , I'm not sure ... Darkorbits primary goal right now is to complete the Merge and then purge any data to a storage server. DO is going to merge servers at all costs ... The Terms and Conditions allows DO to do this. You want to know something ! There are players that can't event remember their passwords to their own email accounts when they started playing this game. Here's another All US server merge Instance will be last since there are only 8 US Servers and the US servers are Big Money in DO dynamics. The only reason I have a GB-1 account is when I was switching to another server I have account on is my cat stepped on the laptops touch-pad

 

Because you cane from another server they added the old server to your name, we were told it was going to be on ALL accounts but it sounds like it was only applied to the imported accounts.

I only see the server name only on gb2 pilots. The others in the auction house don't have their server name add to theirs. No I haven't see pilots in the sector that wasn't gb2 but I only been in x-1 map. I'm trying to earn goodies for my ship. I haven't fought yet because I need weapons and ammo. I'm trying to bid on them, but I get out bid most of the time. Boy do I wish I could transfer items to this server. I have tons of stuff in my main server I could use as well as credits. It just stuff sitting around because I have better or don't need it.

I wish my GB2 wasn't listed because I feel like I'm a interloper in their sever. Hey look at me I'm here in your server. We are the same, but not the same. Come kill me because I'm new here to your playground. I just thought of something. Pause ..., I'm back and it worked. I went to the pilot icon and changed my name. I got it off gb2. Now I only have my name. I hope it works in the sector. Will see and I'll let you know. I took the time and started the game. My name is like it was no gb2 at all. Yea, it works. Now I hope I'm one of the company's pilots.

Hey WarriorAngus,

Players change their nicknames - which that why you can't see gb2_[NICKNAME] on most players. If you don't want to have server in your nick name please follow these steps. Login to your account/Pilot Sheet//Pilot name: <<-- Enter your nick name.

Let me know if you need anything else in this matter or shall I lock the thread

I have fixed it. Thanks. I didn't like my server name listed when others didn't have theirs.
