Additional AI protocols for PET that could result useful for pilots:

    1. Disguise: the PET can use a disguise system to look exactly like you for a limited time. This can confuse enemies. If additionally the PET can be sent to different locations, it could take away aliens from your location. This could be useful when you are surrounded by enemies, or it's just one annoying one lurking around and you need it to go away. In this case, aliens can attack your PET. Additional disguises, which could be bought on the store, could be alien disguises.

    2. Hide my trail: the PET blocks the radios waves that allow for discovering your position but only from the angle from where it's following you. For example, if the PET is between you and an enemy, and this protocol is present, the enemy cannot see you as long as the PET is in between. This would go great with the disguise, so that the PET won't give you away.

    3. Backup system: this PET protocol would backup your systems when hit by the special rockets of Boss StreuneR and Saboteur, thus cancelling their effects for a certain amount of times.

    4. Take me to safety: when you need to get to a location while avoiding enemies, you could enable this protocol and then follow your PET's trail.

    5. Statistics: While fighting an enemy the PET could show live statistics of the battle that don't usually show. Such being: exact amount (number) of enemy life, estimated elapsed time until it's death or yours, enemy tech and abilities ready for use (in the quick bar).

    6. Show fuel trail: as it says, to show the remaining fuel left in space that could determine the type of enemy that was just there earlier.

    7. Messages and unexpected behavior: just like a normal PET would. You could choose from different types of behavior that could simulate real pets. For example, the 'DOG' protocol would bark when it finds an enemy (it would actually show the message: 'bow wow'). The 'CAT' protocol would have a variable behavior such as getting involved in battles or not: 'I'm not helping you, meow', 'You just died, me-OW'.

Feel free to add what protocols you would find useful or just fun!

  2. For the #1 idea, Aliens NPC wont leave you because they follow real players not the bots. Assume the PET is the same npc just like Aliens, but programmed to follow his owner and help him based on equipment. If they was following PET's, they will shoot them too.

For the #3 idea i dont' like it. If DO make that thing, it would at least increase the damage of these NPCS which will be bad for new players..

  4. 1: No... That's just a waste of someones time lol.
2: No... It's a PvP game, stop trying to hide.
3: No... Learn how to drag.
4: GOD NO... The bots would abuse this, and PvP would drop drastically. Stop crying.
5: No... That would be extremely unfair, and would also just take away some of the skill, the surprise is also funner.
6: No... So again you want to know how to avoid PvP, it's a PvP game, git gud.
    7: That's just idiotic and a waste... This isn't a kids game.
