[UI] Citadel rockets

  1. any chance of some new options for the citadel rocket launchers? at the moment it has two rocket launchers, but it takes the same time to load both as it would for a single launcher to load twice, surely they should both load in the same time as one? if not how about having the launcher able to fire a mixed load? one type of rocket from each?
     
  2. Um.. Do you know what 'Balance' is? See, if it worked both at the same time, it would mean more damage then an average ship, rockets do A LOT, they're very useful in fights and make a big difference, especially if you switch them about correctly in a fight. The citadel is a TANK, it has a lot of HP, can be loaded with Shields, and has protective abilities, so why would you suggest increasing it's damage output? And using 2 different types at once? That would be unbalanced, you would be able to drain shields, and deal damage at the same time.

    I use my launcher all the time, and it is a killer too. I never leave home without it load and ready to fire. You have to watch you launcher cooling time soon as its fires and the sweep hand count down to cooled (is done), hit your manual reload, and it will load faster. Yes, I do have auto-reload set, but DO still has put in a wait time for actual reload. I don't know why but is does. I use number 3 for my launcher and if I'm in a life or dead fight I'm right on my button. It doesn't matter if you have one or two Launcher. It works for both.

    I do like the Idea of having two rockets options, but shield drain works only if they have shields. Then it is useless for damage. Well that is what I notice. I may be wrong.

    I agree with that the rocket launcher should load faster. Sure the initial damage may look 'great' but when you take into account that the rocket launchers empties when switching config, I feel like it becomes clear that equipping two rocket launchers really isn't all that great.

    They also should make it so that SAR rockets deal regular damage if your opponent has no shield left, that way we do not have to switch between rocket launcher ammo all the time. Downside of that would be that SAR rockets still deal less damage than their ECO-10 or HSTRM-01 counterparts.

    Once again you come to the wrong conclusion, this has nothing to do with skill, at least not for PVE. When shooting Kristallons for example, it is just impractical to constantly having to switch between rocket launcher ammo because SAR doesn't deal damage when they run out of shield. Besides, SAR-01 already deals less damage so feel free to show off your 'skills' in a PVE fight. With this update you will still be rewarded for your 'skills' with extra damage while I can get some extra shield every once in a while.

  8. Doesn't matter if you don't understand the skill concept, you're still taking skill away, so no, the idea is bad.

  10. Yeah lets just put this idea in I want my awesome citadel to be even more annoying and pretty much un-killable ;D. Yes do me the favor so i`ll never have to swap ships again.
     
  11. Hi All

    The Citadel and its launcher are great and first fire does a lot of damage. If you help to load it by manual load (pressing the #button for your launcher is attached) it will load a little faster. Then the lasers are weak to compare to my other ship that has almost twice as many. But on the other hand my launcher fire faster then my Citadel. I can fire twice (reload and fire) as it takes my Citadel. The problem the first shot of Citadel is a killer. I can get over 100,000 points of damage with the Citadel. My single launcher a third of that maybe 25,000 to 30,000. I don't know why it does, but it does. I think I lost track where I was going (well be old doesn't help).

    I like my Citadel and it is my secondary ship. My main ship is a G-Surgeon because it has bonuses which I like. If I could put the two together look out. I do have a 3rd ship Tartarus and 4th ship Venom at the ready, but they are hardly used. Neither ship can fight off PVP unless its a lower level than me or same, but its seem the higher level love to kill me. I'm a PVE player at the start of my adventure, and I want to stay that way.
