[SC] In case you miss me . . .

Just in case I do end up getting disconnected from on-line activity ( for a while maybe? ) I will still think about this game.

Apparently, my computer and software are too old.
For some reason;

and I hope it is more than just somebody using a javascript which looks at the s/w version.. etc... and saying ooopps don't like that number; ​

it takes more overhead to use the internet. A request from my PC, to have my browser, access a site to do something will take much more bit handshaking....
I have been notified I need to upgrade the software.... for that I need to upgrade the machine...

I guess it is kind of like facebook requiring people to buy mobile phones or at least to have a viable landline connection to now have a facebook (account?). With or without a phone in the house - and for some people it could be an apartment - the PC's internet connection doesn't change. It is the same wire, same electron exchange, etc. but now, it has to be done on more modern purchased equipment.

So, if you don't see me here or on the maps, I am still around... maybe I can sit on the living room chair.... unless of course it has been deemed by some idiot to be too old and I need to get a new one because my pants won't let the chair accomodate me ....

oh well... it must be new tech... or is it nuisance tech ... about the same.

 

Love ya bro ... I have this stupid Tower sitting in a corner and all it needs is a power module and a wifi card ... my stupidly is should I finish the Tower and bring it back on-line or stick to my laptop . My Tower is is Old School with DDRM4 slots and upgrade able

Just a laptop but seems to work relatively good. It's a few years old but not a relic. Bought it used at a pawn shop, not too expensive.
