[SC] Looks like Game is now Dead

My server maybe 15 to 25 people on a good day. Most the time dead all day and night really boring. the last event brought out about 25 people to play but its dead again now.

 

Yeah the cheats are ruining this game by the day.

 

Mexican_Jumping_Bean I think I know what server you are talking about... I was tossed from a clan on US East-2 for providing info to the clan that my isp would be off-line in front page Clan News ... The clan owner did not provide permissions to all members in clan messages and I have more enemy kills than the person that tossed me .... I am looking for her , and it is a her and pop her just for the dis-Honor ... I prefer being clanless now-a-days for a-lot of reasons ... It's so easy rolling up on a couple of players that are PVP-ing and have been running their mouths off in game chat client and drop them both ... been there done that

 

The server is dead, oh only one running that server is [REMOVED]. there is not many players on East 2 very few. they only come out where there is events and not many about 25 maybe 30 at max. As it is, I don't play much either since the new staff running DO took all the fun out the game. There is to many other fun games to play than to play a dying game. It use to be fun boring now.

 

Yeah I remember a player of your name on US2 (West Coast) who claimed "his brother accessed the account" when the entire company put the account on KOS, people were excited to take the negative honor just to pop them for all of the friends they had popped.

 

Was mot me : ) I use to play when the game was fun, it is dead and boring now. To many other good games with constant events going on that are way more fun this this one now. This game drop the ball sometime ago, they have taken the fun out it someone put the last nail in its coffin, think all that is left in this game is the Die harts that love this game, and they are starting to get tired of the game too.

 

Activity in the game has slowed and if the trend continues DO may die......oh well.....it's just profit minus operating costs. When the sum is close to zero it ends. And no, no one will run to the bank to borrow more money to keep it going...not a 10 year old game.
That being said, the possibility exists that before it collapses altogether BP Marketing will recommend a significant drop in price of cash items to generate new interest and promote sales for a while, thus lengthening the time the game can still eke out a few dollars more than the server space and staff cost them.

I would love a sector with no other players or a few of them. I could have my fun killing aliens. There would be no bots or cheats around, and most of all no MCC. I could do what I want and wouldn't have to worry who is going to pop out and kill me.

What people in out sector, maybe I would learn who they are. Then maybe we have a good time by all to make friends when the population is low. Then maybe the companies would work together than a part. Isn't it the aliens who are trying to take over a kill us?

Well, I'm a dreamer, and want to have fun, make friends, and play the game.

YEAH, FEEL SORRY FOR YOUZU LOST ALL THAT CASH ON A DYING GAME LOL LIVE AND LEARN. SOMEONE IS ENJOYING THE MONEY LOL.

It being an old game has nothing to do with it, the staff is the problem, they need to get their head out of the dark area and run the game the way it should be ran. Take OP32 I would not trust him with a Banana Gun and I could keep naming staff members that should be dismissed and Admins too, but they trust these guys is one good reason why the game is dying. The new CEO has no idea how to run the game, they are all chumps... Well, its their game and they can cram it for all I care. It is a good game to bad and so sad that they don't know how to run it.

 

Go to East 2 server is dead, there is only a few elite ships flying around, mostly on the cubes and thats all they do as long as you dont mess with the cubes they dont shoot you, but like pally area is dead you can park your ship there and not get killed only npc will kill you in 5 3
