[GI] Uber Sibelon(something new something weird)

While I was doing a daily mission I noticed something different. When I was attacking the Uber Sibelon there were Blue rectangular ( shots) going from my ship towards the alien. I have never seen this before and it didn't seem to happen with any other alien.
Can anyone explain or clarify this for me? It seemed like a shield leech but since I was using Diamond drone formation it didn't seem to do much damage

 

i have noticed the same thing myself.

 

The behavior of aliens have been changed. They have been buffed up in one way or another and Uber Sibelon is just one of them.

 

also happens with the boss sib. didn't notice much of an effect either.

 

OK TY I also noticed behavior diff. with uber sibelonits.. So I guess we'll see what other algorithms have been changed. I don't mind , just curious.May make the game more fun , or not. Also wondering ,if these changes were announced anywhere in forum and if not , why not?

 

No, the changes were not announced. Looks like they were meant to be sort of a surprise so the players themselves find them out.

There was little patch on some npc's, we did that some time ago too. This is not such huge patch or something that has to be announce but also we want players to find out what has been changed With Uber Sibelon they have special attack that takes your shield and gives it to Sibelon.
