[GI] Merger Question

So, as has been going on for a while, servers have been merging for a while and there are more scheduled to be done. As can be seen in my signature, I am on four servers that will be merged together under the same login account.

So not that it is needed for anything, but if I put all four into the same clan, would that be against any rules? I can only play one at a time and I am already thinking about past thoughts about separate accounts being in the same clan ending with one account feeding credits to another account.

I will probably keep them separate. I don't run a tax in my clan but looking for guidance on this question.

 

You allowed to use all accounts on merged servers. This won't be against rules, I think the only difference will be in chat system if you get punished on one of your accounts.

 

Let me clarify. I am wondering if at the end of the month when all US1, US2, US3, and US4 are all on the US West server (US2), would it be against any rules for me to have my ships from the 4 all in the same clan. I play on all 4 with the same login per my signature.

 

You sure can PSKSUNDANCE The server list will still be there to select from but the redirect will log you into the West server. The only difference is that I have seen is there will be a server tag in front of your username , and you can have them in your clan. This is not considered as " Pushing " as I understand it.

 

Now the crevate I am worried about is if someone did this and had taxes being taken, would it be seen as pushing if I distributed the collected taxes? Explaining further, players with more than one account in the past were accused of pushing if they placed both in the same clan and sent their newer ship credits for auction use or anything else. Is this still the case or no? Once again, I don't need credits for any of my accounts but I always wonder about the pushing accusations.

The main reason I even wonder about this is because with the merge, there has not been anything to clarify this issue when I basically addressed this situation of having multiple instances of ships from the same login placed together a year ago.

 

good ? PSK I didn't think about that. I have a few accounts in the mix. some may have been unplayed for awhile. They were started when I first started playing this game and was looking for a server that worked for how I was going to play this game. Slowly only a couple of hours a day to kill some time while everyone else is still sleeping. Not all servers were how should I put this, lets just say not as freindly as others. lol. So, If I got this right, I can start a clan and bring those ships into it, make tax of them and me, send them credits to use in the auction, Without any issue at all? I'm hoping that is true. I would like to add one more ? to the mix. Can I start a new acount or accounts on the same server and add them to my new clan of my ships and still swing the tax and auction game? I ask this because for as long as I have been playing this game I have never been in a clan. Plus this could add a new twist to a game that needs some help in the things to do while playing it department.

 

PSKSUNDANCE The credit answer is [NO] it is not considered as pushing ... You and I both are clan founders/owners for yrs. The new DO banking system is a weekly fixed rate and since none of your merged accounts need no credits turn banking off and remove any permissions previously set for other clan co-leaders. DO controls the banking system . You run a ship building clan for new players that just started playing . We both know that there were folks that created multiple accounts on the same server yrs. ago and went from clan to clan begging for clan credits . That's where part of the KOS came into play . I had 1 person that I considered as a friend and I made him a clan co-leader and robbed the clans bank in 5 mins of 225 billion clan creds back in 2009 that 22 members contributed daily @ 5%/day . There are evil hearten ppl that play this game make no mistake.

 

Ok, that's my plan then. My credit account will still stay out but the four under this signature shall join up.

So let me get this right , I can use ships that I have had on other servers that have been merged together and let them be in my clan but can't start new ones and do the same thing. Did I get this right? If I did that just silly. I have always played this game honestly and fair, what the point if you don't. So I would hate to break the rules trying to find something to do in this game. Lets face it as far missions, events they have been around for years with no change. It's like "oh" it's that event again. It's time upgrade everyones missions and some new and fun events.
