[SC] Mimesis?!

  1. My only question is.. When will this ship finally be nerfed.. Like.. Lets be honest, 100% chance to avoid (or probably even beyond that) laser dmg is just broken.. Don't really know what is taking BP so long to realise that?

    95% of the players using mimesis can be countered very easily as they are "bad". Mimesis is the hardest to play ship and very few can play it decently.

    Several things can be done to counter mimesis. Combining those will even be more efficient: rocket preci tech+ rocket-damage formation, emp, ish, !smartbomb!, shield mine, slowmine+kami, !spearhead's JAM-X ability!, cita's drawfire can be used tactically...

    But still like 95% don't think and rather complain about this ship.


    Only negative and like "OP" aspect is the very easily killing of bases without somebody defending it, but "afk bases" can be killed by any ship.

Let's be honest, even if it's hard to play (which I can't judge), even if it can be countered (but well.. in many fights I see 3+ people focusing mimesis, all of them are UFE and let's say some of 'em using rocket formations, it still takes sometimes even minutes to kill that ship. Of course, he is not going to kill them all, because all he can do is just SAB to survive, but anyways, isn't something like that just too broken?

    Killing bases.. well.. if around 2 people are protecting the base, there is no way, they will be able to kill mimesis (when properly built and played, but the other side can be playing properly as well and it wouldn't matter at all simply because of the fact that you can SAB modules over and over and then x4/x6 base).

    I just feel like having numbers (especially something like avoidance, which is just so annoying to deal with in any type of game) close to 100% (or even above -.-) is just not healthy for any game, not only orbit.

    Saying spearhead can JAM-X their ability is just stupid, noone plays that ship and noone ever will (except for cheap botters, which have no money for tartarus ofc).

    But it is always nice to see some opinions so.. Thanks!

    Mimesis is easy to play, you just have to do this:

    Sab, once your opponent is out of shields hit him with x4-rsb 1 time, then sab another enemy for 3 seconds, then switch back and x4-rsb the guy with no shields another time, and he is dead-----move to the next target---- rinse and repeat until there is only 1 guy left, for this guy once he runs out of shields, you sab your own pet for 3 seconds, then x4-rsb him and he is dead.

    That's more or less mimesis basics, yes.
    If this is all the mimesis does, ability still can be turned off easily.

    @pinkie: if nobody of several guys defending a base is able to think and use counters or just warp to spearhead for one simple click on ability, sorry to say that, but then they deserve to lose their base ;)

    Do is and want specialized ships with "roles" and other ships to counter them etc. (Referring to other games etc.)
    And then in the other side they will shoot with speed configuration on ring at the mimesis instead of thinking about how to counter it..I don't get it.))



    ! Mainly talking about ufe players. Smaller ones lacking mines for smartbombs, rocket preci tech and rocket formations etc. will for sure have a hard time...
