  1. Setting a New Skill, Mines so far have 4 points iin Detonation and waiting for Seprom to accumulate in a day or 2 to put in the final point in Detonation. Now I was told I don't need any points in Explosives, Was told If I put in any points in Explosives its not going to hit any harder only expand the radius of the Explosion, Note, also was told that I will not be able to stack them close together if I add the Explosives Points.

Now I want to hear from a Mine Expert in whats the best way to set up mines, I know adding all Explosive will put on a good light show not what I am looking for. I need mines to camouflage in the the dark areas so enemy does not see the beeping red light. I need My minds to do Damage not light shows.

Now my question is Do I really need to put any points in Explosives or is that just a waste of points?

I do have the Lance formation as well, so I want to put it to good use with Lance formation and Detonation I will have 100% mine damage, don't know exactly what that means but it sounds good lol.

    There is another question

When Setting down Mines do I have to activate the Lance Formation to get the other extra 50% damage?

  2. It means your mine damage is doubled for the 100% and when you use lance you get an extra 50% damage.
Is your choice i chose not to use explosives cause i wanted the extra pp for something else, It works exactly as you were told it only gives a larger area damage but that means maybe more players will be hit also definitely you would have to spread them apart more as the closer you are the more chance you will set the mine off yourself.
Of course works same as any other formation you have to be in that formation to get the bonus. Enjoy

  3. Does the Drone level have anything to do with the damage out put of mines, maybe like having level 16 drones will make the mines hit any harder?

  4. No that doesn't have anything to do with that it's mine damage + pp + lance And trust me when i say i have got popped by my own mines a few times cause you try to get them close together but maybe lag or a wrong movement in your part could prove to be fatal :)

Your post has just happened to be noticed by a DDM Mine LEGEND in Dark Orbit. I don't use mines in any 1v1 or group PvP fights whatsoever; however I do get loads of kills with them regardless if someone is UFE or not.

If you max out explosives with 5/5 points in it, it will give off a red flare which is terrible for two reasons:
    • 1) Assuming you're cloaked, your mine will be be seen easier and ruin your surprise attack.
    • 2) Assuming you're in an open 1v1 or group fight, no one will fly over your blinking red mine.
To get around this, you could technically only fill it to 4/5, but I'd still recommend against it. The only exception that would permit placing points in explosives, is if you use slowdown mines to escape from enemies. But that is an entire other subject that I won't touch on here.

  6. That's a funny statement when actually you don't get any kill points for players destroyed by your mines unless you have their lock and shoot them at the last minute. Enjoy

Well my mine puts them down to 60% HP, so technically, what I meant is that I finish them off with Moth and sometimes Kami

    Enjoy
