[SC] US Severs Merged:Server Clocks Need to be changed

With all the Merging of US Servers just now being completed, we need to take into consideration the Sever Clock.
All East Servers seem to have been merged with the West Coast Server, which as we all know is a 3 Hour difference. So now with that said, Primetime for the CBS's instead of starting a 8PM now starts at 11PM. Uridium Mega/Helix Sales start a 9PM instead of 6 PM.

With a majority of the players on this new Merged Server living on the East Coast, The Server Clocks need to be changed to reflect that. Not many of the East Coast Players can stay up from 11pm EST to 2am EST to watch a base or put one up.

Changing the Server clocks to EST would not be a problem for the West Coast players because it will be at least 5 PM for them when Primetime would start.

Either consider setting the Server time Eastern Standard Time or in the very least, Central Standard Time. That way, Players from East Coast and West Coast can all Participate in all Events from Battle Station Prime Time to Spaceball.

Yea I agree not everyone can stay up to 2am in the morning doing a event on east coast time, if it was set back to east time it would be fair for everyone to do the events.

 

Yea the clocks need to be set back to east time considering when prime time is and mega u might be loosing money for those that can't stay up .

 

Absolutely! Server clocks Must be changed! Us, Players on the East Coast will not be able to do any Events or bases if the clocks remain on PST! Eastern Standard Time is the only way Everyone, from East Coast to West Coast would be able to Do things and Enjoy the Game.

 

Good news this is already planned, initially the server was set to US West as it is US2 that is acting as the database, however it will be changing to EST in the coming weeks at the latest.

I would suggest a modest compromise on the server time.
Use Central time setting. It is only a one hour difference to regular east time, so 4 pm central would be same as 5 pm east coast; and the west coast would only have a 2 hour difference making 4 pm central same as 2 pm west coast.

 

so what time is it? Auction House Bids were 15 mins [after] the hr and now it's [on] the hour ... The US has 4 time zones eastern , central , mountain and pacific .... Yrs ago DO set the time for eastern , including events , and uri purchasing special deals aka [Mega]. The problem arose / complaint arose from the west coast players using the east1 server time complaining THEY were missing out on the special deals because of the time difference [most users were still at work] on the west coast. The problem is how to split the time zones . Simple: there are 3 time zones between east and west 3 divided by 2 = 1.5 hrs and do all the resets using that formula

 

Leave the wested prime time for the west coast as it was before. There are a lot of other people which are living outside of USA but playing in that time! Russians, Turkey, Europeans can't have bases now with eastern time !!!

 

EST is just fine! You not in US or North America, TOO BAD............

Okay no problem, EST Okay. But give us an opportunity to have Prime Time also. Give us more diapason of prime time.
For example to can stay up from 8pm EST to 2am EST to watch a base or put one up.

 

EST is closer to the Europe Time Zones than PST,.. you get it earlier. What you propose is a 6 hour Primetime and that just don't fly

Where do u live??? PST is closer to the Europe Time Zones.
We used to be able to set up bases in the morning!
Now
we are deprived of such opportunities.

 

Eastern Standard Time which made Primetime at 8 pm. Europe time (U.K./ Scotland was 5 hours later) and we still had people on at Primetime.
Now, Primetime is 9 pm EST making it harder for the UK guys to stay up.

If your Primetime was in the morning, then you must be based in East Asia by the sound of it.
