[GI] Frozen Designs

Hey all,

So the frozen designs have been in the shop all year round. But instead of dishing out 250K Uridium, what are the other ways to obtain these designs? Are they handed out during special events, are they inside special booty chests, or will there be winter gates that give you recipes to assemble them with?

Just curious about how to get them.

EDIT: Same with the red Inferno designs, they look so cool. But I still can't figure out how to get the Inferno designs either. Obsidian and other chest FAQs don't mention an Inferno Design as a loot reward.

To answer you question. They can be obtained during various special events by completing missions. or by purchasing them with real life currency, also during special promotions. This applies to the Red Inferno as well.

Which events in particular have the frozen and inferno designs? Also when is the next event that would have either of them?

 

I would assume the Frozen designs would be available during December, for the Winter + Christmas + Darkorbit Birthday Events, and the Inferno during Halloween, through the Vortex of Terror. They're drops from the Demon Drones within it.

That is my best guess, I can't recall what dropped for VoT apart from the delicious ammo.

 

Only inferno drones can drop and I am not sure if it was in this years vot. And no last year and the year before that we didn't have frozen designs from december exept the goliath-x one from the calendar. Inferno ships are in the hitac lottery and this year they are in it as well ...
