  1. Hi All,

I have 3 ships and I haven't been using my older ships because I'm working on my new one to Level Up. So I only have been collecting my Daily Bonus for the other ships. I notice this yesterday but didn't pay attention to it until today. There were two ships on top of one another. First I thought it was someone else just happen to be there at the same time I was. Today I moved off and I was surprised to see my other ship from a different server there.

I have a ships on USA (East Coast) and USA 2 (East Coast). Both servers are up and running so I don't know why they are together on one server?

When I open USA 2 (East Coast) my ship is there and ready to go.

When I open USA (East Coast) both ships are there. One on top of the other (at the base in sector 3-8). When I moved off, the ship were like twins, same ship and configuration.

On USA (East Coast) the server USA 1 is part of my name and company on the ship name. The USA 2 (East Coast) ship I can't do nothing with it except lock on it and look at it.

    Why are both together?

    Star_Fighter 168455878 USA (East Coast)
WarriorAngus 169418691 USA 2 (East Coast)

  2. Are you logged into both at the same time? Or did you not log out on one then log into the other? That would possibly explain two instances being visible to you at once. If you close your browser instead of logging out, your other ship may stay active until it logs out from inactivity.

  3. Contact support, as they are the only ones to be able to speedily help you with that issue.
Quite likely a result of the server merges. Things like that will never go 100% smoothly for anyone.

  4. As Iron Monger said, if you don't "Log Out" your ship actually stays in game for 10 min. That is why you saw it.

  5. Hi All,

The first ship up was the last ship I did something to the day before. I log in on a USA (EAST COAST) (1 or 2), which is ever up first. I do my business then log off. Then I change to Great Britain 2 and work on that ship. Then I log on to USA (EAST COAST) (1 or 2) to do my last ship's business. While I'm doing my business, I'll pick one of the three ships that I'm working at the time (usually Great Britain because its my newest ship) fly around doing some hunting to add experience points to my total. I log off from flying and come here.

The last time I saw two ships was on USA 2 (East Coast) and that was yesterday.

  6. By log out, do you actually hit the log out button from the game screen for the 20 second countdown (5 seconds if premium)?

  7. HI Kiler Streak,

My USA accounts are Premium, Great Britain isn't anything now. I haven't upgraded it because of money.

When I log out, it is for the server I was just on USA or Great Britain. There are 2 USA I'm on and one Europe server. Again today I was going between my server to collect my bonus and transfer my seprom to my ships. The way I work is USA (1 or 2) to Great Britain, to USA (1 or 2). Again today both ships were on USA (east coast). This happens most of the time. I ended up in USA (east coast) when this happen today.

We have four servers listed on "American East" are there really 4 servers or just 2 servers. You had a merger listed for USA (east coast) and USA 2 (east coast) to be merge, but I don't know if I saw it happen, but again you have two listed. To me that is two different servers, but I see an over lap on one.

I checked with the Auction House. My two servers had joined and both pilots are in the same Auction House bidding on the same items. This isn't right. That is one reasons I was on two servers. We were separated, now we are one.

I don't know about Global America and Global America 2 if they are Merge because I don't have any ships there.

Can you move one of my ships to a totally different server maybe to Global America it is in the same Server "American East."

  8. If you would, please refer to the following announcement and check to see if your server(s) have been affected by the merges: Official Announcement - Next wave of merges

The reason you see your accounts bid on the same items are because your accounts are now located in the same server. I assume the Darkorbit team has not had the time yet to remove the server selections for the no longer available servers (or maybe so people can get used to their new server location/name).

The only reason you would see your other account's ships within the game screen would be because you did not log out from the GAME SCREEN. Logging out from the backpage is completely different from the actual game screen. You need to sit through your 20 second logout countdown (5 seconds if premium) by hitting the shortcut 'L' or clicking the power icon inside your game screen. Otherwise, your ship continues to stay logged on until it is timed out for inactivity.

And I cannot do anything for you, I'm not a moderator. You will need to ask support directly as that matter cannot be handled by anyone within the forums.

  9. Hi Kiler,

Thank you for your feed back. My two accounts were never link together and I been playing them together a log time. Dark Orbit did merge the two together as one. So both ships are in the same server it seems. Today when I was on USA (east coast) both ships were there. When I was on, USA 2 (east coast) only one ship was there. They are different in away because I have to move between the two servers to do things with them. I can not interact with both ships on one server. Even though they are together, I only can operate one ship that was on that server. The other ship just sits there.

  10. As I have stated the previous two times, the reason you see your other ship sitting there is because you did not log out properly. Stating once more, clearly:

Hit the shortcut key, 'L' or click the following icon (highlighted blue) to logout (located on the top, right-hand side of your window by default):

Following that, you will notice a 20 second countdown (5 seconds if premium) in the center of your screen. You must wait for this countdown to hit zero. Following that, you will experience either a) the game screen automatically quitting, or b) the game screen displaying a "Disconnected" menu, and giving you the option to either "Reconnect" or "Logout." Hit "Logout" and your game screen will quit. Following these procedures will ensure that a proper logout has taken place, and you will not see your account logged into the game screen directly from the view of another account.

If this is the procedure you follow, yet you still see your ship in-game from another account, please contact support. This would be an issue that they can handle, not through anyone here.

  11. Hi Kiler,

    Well that works. Thank you.
