    Hi
Just started playing after many years. While I was playing I had a power outage. When things got fixed logged in and found my ship was damaged and needed repair. The repair is for free cause I'm a noob. Went to the repair hanger and can't enter. The icon for it is grayed out. I have equipped my ship with a repair bot also. What am I missing ?
    Thanks

  2. Can you provide screenshots?
It sounds like Adobe Flash isn't running (stupid browser). For Chrome, you'll notice a little icon in your address bar, probably an "i" with a circle around it or a lock. Click it, and a menu should pop up. It may show that Flash is set to "Ask." Change it to "Allow." Unfortunately, browsers will only remember it for that session.

After that, you should be able to reload the page and see everything there.

By the way, welcome back! Hopefully, you'll be able to get your foot placed on the ground (err, your spaceship??) pretty quick and get used with the new style. Ship repairs are now free, although drones still require 500 Uridium, or 1 Repair Credit, to repair. The ship has to be repaired via the game screen now, not the hangar. When hitting launched, you may also be greeted with a "Flash is not running" message, and you'll need to perform the steps as above on that page.

Remember: Repair bots can only repair partial damage, and they are not able to bring back your ship from destruction.

    Enjoy!

Thanks for the info. Yes I do see the "i" and selected allow. From what you're saying every time I want to play I have to go thru this ?

Just went back to the game. Did what you said but can't repair ship. Also can't go into hanger to reconfigure ship.
Game was easier to navigate years ago.
Don't like the small icons on the bottom of screen. Hard to see how much ammo you have unless you scroll onto it.

  4. Odd. Don't know what else I can do for you, and yes, I agree. They've added a couple more complex things into the game and it is indeed hard to take in all at once. I've played throughout the transition from "Old School" to how it is now, and that time was quite stretched.

    Thanks for helping the OP.

Is the OP still having this issue?

    Yes I am.

  7. A few questions:
    Are you on base?
If ship was totally destroyed do you or did you have at least 1 repair credit or the uridium to fix the ship so the repair bot has something to work with?
Do you have both the repair bot cpu and one of the repair bots?

    Yes I'm on base.
Ship not totally destroyed. Repair is for free and have a repair bot.
Just saw that when you click on the repair icon another tab is started up top. When I select that nothing happens.
Only wish there was a YouTube. I know I'm missing something.
Was looking to start playing again but if I can't figure out the new way to play I'll just bow out.

  9. I do have a guide to help you get back on your feet (err, ship), and it is played through the current edition of the game. You can find the link to it under my signature, "Guide to Full Elite," if you wish to check it out and catch up!

There are other guides, one by TerrorTheLegend, and another by YoungBlood, although I do believe they do not go as in-depth as I have, but they do cover more once you are fully set and past the Full Elite mark.

  10. Did you go into your cpu tab and activate your repair bot cpu? Or check and make sure you have what you need for free repair most of the time you just need to hover your cursor over something and it will give you a small message.

    What is a CPU ?
"what you need for free repair" Don't know, where do you find that info?
"most of the time you just need to hover your cursor over something and it will give you a small message." OK where would hover my cursor over ?
