[GI] Lf4 stats / new scatter laser

I can't find the stats of regular lf4 weapon
It has 200 dmg... ok but
how much is its range ? 600?
what is the % of damage variance? I just want to compare it with the new weapon scatter laser which has 25% dmg variance
Also we know lf4 has 80%hit probability. How about the scatter laser
In other words Im looking for full comparison in depth between lf4 and the new scatter laser but some details are missing

 

What new scatter laser? Are you referring to the new Prometheus Lasers?
By default, ALL lasers have damage variation of 25%, a 80% hit probability, excluding Pilot Bio and the Xenomit fueled extra that increases hit chance, as well as a range of 600, the "normal" range for some of the main weapons such as the LF-3 and LF-4.

LF-4
Damage: 200
Damage Variation: 25%
Range: 600
Hit Probability: 80%

That means Prometheus is much better than lf4 ... same range, same probabilyty but over 210+200/5=250 dmg per second

 

For PvE, definitely much better.

But for PvP, level 16 LF4s/New LF4s are much better. The 2 extra damage points may not be much, but it adds up, and definitely overtakes the new lasers in the long run. The Bonus Damage from the Prometheus Lasers are very easily countered by timing ISHs, EMPs, and PLDs (accuracy reduction). Especially with the Magmadrills (217 damage in PvP).

1. A Scatter Laser is an LF3 that gives a burst of 150 extra damage every 5 seconds.

Now if you are talking about the New LF4 Prometheus Lasers that does the most damage. that a lone with do over 500 damge per laser I think the way its calculated - that is 500 with x 1 ammo no boosters no nothing on ship.
