[UI] Is Pilot Point skill tree cap necessary at this point? -_-

  1. Is a max amount of pilot points in the skill tree really necessary, at this point?
    Let's be real, in this game, Everyone's just going to focus on pvp upgrades, both offensive and defensive. No one in the whole game would ever waste expensive and valuable Pilot point on bonus box chance increase skill, honor point or cargo increase skill and so on.

    ...also why do I need to waste 2 Pilot point on both Cruelty I skill and Rocket Fusion just to access Alien Hunter skill? 2 Pilot Points on either, like for every other skill unlock, is enough.

    Maybe increase the cap for max pilot point a bit or remove it.
     
  2. Lots of us use the skills that you mention we don't. Every little bit helps in rank climbing.

    Limit exists so we don't have everything.

    Prioritize what you want.
     
  3. Still, there's ONE skill, out of all different skill, which required you to invest 2 research points on BOTH previous skills to unlock it... and it had to be Alien Hunter. (needs 2 RP in Cruelty I and another 2 RP in Rocket Fusion) Why not let me unlock alien hunter with just one option out of the two, like for every other skills in the skill tree? :(
     
  4. Other skills have multiple requirements also as you move to the right.
     
  5. Honestly, they just need to redesign the whole pilot skill tree itself, a lot of it doesn't make sense--like the example you gave for the route to get alien hunter.

    There is also absolutely useless stuff like Tractor Beam I, increase the amount of ore you get from cargo. Seriously? :') At least make it applicable to Black Light cargos to make it worth while.

    More useless bios: the heat seeking missiles--if one is going to have it 5/5 at least make it 100% rocket accuracy so players can free up a tech item. Assuming they have target precisioners of course.

  6. Not really, only Alien Hunter and Luck II which "requires RP in EACH of the following", everything else is "any of the following skills".
