[GI] Unable to complete School of Lordakia on 3-4

Hi,

I got tired of trying to finish this quest called School of Lordakia on map 3-4. There are always 10-15 players/bots running around killing the lordakia and dont get enough to kill them in 5 mins. Please Increase the quest timer or decrease the respawn time.

This is the 8th time I failed trying to do the quest. Too many people/bots farming around here.

 

I'm kinda at the same place. Lots of the timed quests to do but won't even try if the time needed is under 30 minutes because of so many bots.

It's a bugger to do the 5 min lordakia quest even without the bots around, they make it nearly impossible.

 

What you all have to do is outfit with a couple of people and hit the maps from all angles.
Have a larger player help you with the quick kills and hit map 2 sides.
I heard this one from a newer clan member on GA2 they was having a hard time battling the bots. The bots are capable of locking the NPC out of screen also.

 

Another way to do it - Group up with at least one other who has enemy locator, get him/her to fly around the map gathering the target NPC while you wait at the mission hub. When there is a reasonable number following your helper, accept the missions and go kill them. The locator should help with the remaining npc's if you work together.
NB; It helps if your helper is from a different company to you as the bots won't go near him so the npc's he gathers will live long enough for you to kill them, XD.

Don't give up, if it gets too bad competing with the not so honest, find someone from another company to come with you. These automated players will do everything possible to avoid enemy players leaving the map open to do timed quests...

 

What I do to help novice players trying to complete timed missions, I shoot at the botted ships making them go fast to port

This free's up the map for those needing to complete "timed" missions.

My suggestion is to try and get a player or two to come help you killing the NPC while another forces the bots to port.

Nah I am on G EU-7 sadly. And pretty sure we got more bots than players here lol.

 

make a small account and go into the lower maps and just sit in the middle of the map or next to the portal ,since they run in the portal and don't leave unless there's no enemy around ,you can just keep the small acc there and it ll keep them in the portal long enough for you to finish the quest hopefully

 

LoL then get caught for pushing the bots ..Even with credit lasers hit the bot a few times it will go to port.

 

This can not legitimately be done. You can't run two ships at the same time, this is pushing. Just get a couple friends to help you out killing the NPC and get an enemy company "friend" to simply cruise the map for the short time it would take to do the timed mission. The enemy cruising the map will force the bots to port. If you don't know an "enemy" player to come do that then just get a same company player to come and shoot the botted ship(s), not kill it but just shoot it, the bot will run to port once shot on, no matter the company shooting it.

I'd recommend forming a group and doing it with a friend. Much higher chance of doing it.

Just skip this mission for now. You can wait until you have a vengi with full speed. I ran it in my nostro with full speed and it took about 12 tries for the same reason, in the same map.

 

Guy's i find it easy to get rid of bot's if they are actually a bot just shoot them a couple times they will run to the port and maybe even forget about their kill and leave it for you also.

 

Yes, but that is not going to end well if they look at it and see you attacking them.

That's not the point. If someone sees a new ship attacking them it could create a very unpleasant playing experience for the new player.
It's only a warning that you might shoot someone that's not even cheating since this game has been around for over 10 years, people know how to circle well now.

 

Whatever... Don't come here trying to say what is and what is not the point. The OP has issues with those that are botting and your defense line is not helping. Your first comment was great but now your veering off.
